Yes, I agree with those that say hang on if you're not sure, and try to afford the 12 inch figures you can buy anyway. But that's just what I would do.
I've gone the opposite way; I had been collecting 12 inch figures (Joe, Dragon, BBi) for a few years. The prices go up so quickly in 1/6th at the moment, that I switched over to 1/18th recently. I like to play with my figures a bit, pose them and swap parts/accessories round, and with those mega expensive 1/6th figures i was really too scared to do anything much. So the small Joes I can actually play around with. Plus I can get my toy retail therapy in much more often. Just my 2 pennies. |

Sure!
...If you want to repurchase every character you have ever got in a different size. AND a lot more expensive. You have a wicked collection. I'd hang onto that. |

Me, myself I rather have 1/6th over the 1/18 scale.

While I think the 1/6 scale offers some more detail and a wider range of accessories, I think you get more bang for your buck with the 1/18, and you can fit more into a tinier space. I'd say sell off your 1/6's and buy more 4 inchers!

ROTMFFLMMFAO!!! Was waiting for someone to say something about that after I just read that.
Keep the 1/18th collection and get the SS when you want them.

I don't think you'll make enough money to really make a dent with the Sideshow stuff, to be quite honest. You might be able to buy 2-3 figures, tops.
Unless you have multiples of Roddy Piper, Dial-Tone, etc., don't bother. You might regret it down the line. The 25th stuff is a really fun line to collect but on the whole, it's not worth a whole lot, I don't think.
