Ah, there's the issue; I've never bought any of the Dollar General WWE guys. My Chavo Guerrero is back from when Jakks had the license. He's no longer available at retail, but he's usually affordable on eBay. This is what he looks like:
That's cool about the movie. I enjoyed it. I tried to mess around with the Guerrero head on POC Recondo and I still can't get it. Did you use the head off of the Dollar General Store figure or the other line. There might be a difference. I used the DG one and his head rests on the body's chest. I ended up putting his head on the Retaliation Winter Duke. He looks good and will go with my slowly growing Adventure Team. Thanks for the links, by the way. They were helpful and like I said I always enjoy your pictures. One day I'll drag some stuff out and take some pictures. Anyway, take it easy and Happy New Year!
Mine looks straight ahead just fine, but I know that's apparently not the normal experience. How does the Recondo head fit on yours? Did he look down, too?
Hey Monte,
How are things going. I just want to start off by saying I totally enjoy your pictures. I always look forward to see what you are doing next. Anyway, I watched a Dino movie this morning called "The Dinosaur Project" and totally thought of your photos. Have you seen it? If you haven't you should check it out. It's a "documentary" on a British Cryptozoic Team that goes to the Congo in search of dinosaur sittings. I thought that you could get a great story on how your Adventure Team stumbled on actual dinosaurs on there, well, adventures.
Now for my question. How did you get the Guerrero (I think that's who you used) head on your Clutch figure to not look straight at the ground. I attempted to copy your recipe and the neck post on the Recondo figure is horrible and my Clutch just looks at the ground. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi Monte, how's it going? Pretty good here. I have been going through figures as I finally set them up this week. I do have an extra POC Quickkick and the Jungle Viper(?) that came with the Target twin gun. I think thats the guy you are looking for. As far as the Dr Who figure goes what do you think is a good trade ratio? How many Joe figures for him? Let me know when you can.
Take it easy,
Jason W
