i remember awhile back, i found a site that sold sheets of styrene, but i can't remember what it wa. they were big sheets, if i remember i will get you the link.
LOL... battleship... the carrier is in a holding pattern right now. At least until I can find a good source of either polystyrene sheet or pvc sheeting.
lol, i'm all about dio's so i constantly search for things, besides things i make up on my own. you're project is bad ass, and i will try to help in anyway i can..
i came accross this website and thought of you man. fig there was some info on pink foam, an seen the draw bridge an was like that would work for zoomie.. just wanted to let you know that if i think you could use info i come accrossed i will pass it along. i never thought of using the axle of a remote control car. when put ion thought it is brilliant. if you found this informative you're welcome, if not hey i tried lol... oh that guy says he puts goop on the pink foam to make it stronger, from what i gather goop is some stuff they put on dio's..
Those motorized drawbridges are pretty cool. I always said that if I had enough money, I would make them all motorized. I think my friction-solution to the problem will work for now... but there's no reason to believe I can't retrofit it later!
