One thing I can suggest, balance between the arms, legs and vehicle. Meaning, when you think you got the arms figured out, dont commit until you have figured out the legs, and after the legs goto the vehicle form. If you focus on one part you might cut away support walls needed for another part.
example: Hound/Vamp jeep, when I went to attach the hip joint, I had found I cut away a support wall that was attached to the feet.
Dont be affraid to cut, but always be thorough about your " math", remember " Measure twice, cut once."
no worries i was actually gonna bid on your starscream you put up on ebay. but the very high postage put me off as im in the uk its generally high from canada. i am still interested in that little beauty. thanks for the offer of help i think i got my head round the backwards unicron hand swap but im guessing by the look of it that you did one hell of a number on that unicron head that is the bit im not looking forward too.
Cheers, I'm glad someone else is dumb enough to cut up his cherished toys. The best moment is when you see it standing up in robot mode and you realize it is possible. Hope your robots turn out good, contact me if you have any questions.
