From Larry Hama's Facebook page:
"I took a stab at another silent Snake-Eyes story, but with more complex visual storytelling and self-imposed parameters like keeping track of ammo and ordnance expenditures. "Wrote" it and did layouts. The amazing Joe Benitez did the finished art. It should be on the stands in September" |

Can't wait for this issue. I'm ready for some delving into IDW's Snake Eyes.

Wonder why they didn't delay this so that it was issue 21?

The fact that Joe Benitez is doing the art, that alone has me hooked. Mr Benitez did a lot of artwork during the Image/DDP era but never a whole issue, can't wait til this comes out.

That is a prett damn cool cover, sometimes I get sick of seeing him on everything over and over, but not this time.

Silent Snake Eyes issue seems almost too easy. Silent issues around a character that talks a lot might be more interesting. I like silent issues. I like mostly silent issues too.

sounds cool. It will be interesting to see if Stormy is also introduced.

I'm probably in the minority here but I did not like "silent interlude". As an 8 or so year old, I felt ripped off. Granted, over the years, I respect the step it took and the idea behind it, but I really don't care to see another wordless comic again. However, that said, the fact Larry mentioned the attention to the artwork to tell a detailed story, I will give it a chance.
