oddly enough i picked up 4 comic packs this week, and this was one of the comics that I got.. tbh i really like deep six's character because I also feel to several degrees that I can relate to him.

a lot of them totally crapped on outback for being a "traitor" and all that when he wasn't. those issues were pretty solid and I also like that you see what he went through to escape in the special missions issue #6, i think.

In the first three years or so, they seemed to at least make an effort to give each Joe a unique personality with quirks. But with the roster expanding annually, there didn't seem to be enough "screen time" to work everyone in. Deep-Six was one of the final "early Joes" to get some quirks.
They brought it back a few years later when Skid-Mark and Wildcard came along. Skid-Mark was a neat freak, while Wildcard would break everything he touched.

I assume you're talking about the next issue when he "mounted" it on Roadblock's back and laid down some fire...then got hit?
After that issue--I'll go easier on Deep Six. Actually that would be one hell of a custom and dio...Deep Six without his diver suit on, manning the big guns. |
