DC Trinity: Supes, Bats, Wonder Woman
Marvel trinity: Spidey, Shellhead(Iron Man), and (?) Im guessing Wolvie or Cap America in the 3rd spot. |

Cap, Iron Man and Thor
That was the Avengers trinity for ages. Based on media and general public recognition? Spider Man / Wolverine / Hulk |

i don't think marvel's trinity is three people.
Spidey/Fantastic Four/Hulk That's the well that evrything else seems to really spring from. The back's that marvel has been carried upon all this time. |

As for a Marvel Trinity? They don't have one, not really. The Avengers have their "Big Three" (Cap, Iron Man, Thor) but that's really just for the Avengers franchise. Captain America alone is really the only hero in the entire Marvel Universe that commands the same level of respect across the entire setting that the Trinity at DC does within theirs. Maybe the FF (especially Reed) gets close. Out of universe? Spider-Man, Hulk, and you could probably flip a coin between Wolverine and Iron Man at this point. |

I'm gonna go with Spider-Man, Captain America and Hulk, but only Spider-Man seems to have been consistently a part of Western pulp culture the same way Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are.
You could also make an argument for including teams, in which case I'd probably go with Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Avengers and X-Men... which I know isn't a trinity but otherwise it gets really debateable. I suppose you could probably put Hulk in that list as well. I also agree with Jmacq1 on the "Avengers Trinity" which could also be considered on the same level as the DC's "Big Three", but only from the "within their respective universe" perspective. In real life, they've never attained the cultural significance that DC's Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman have. Like I said, the only Marvel character that has is still Spider-Man, though their other characters have come a long way in the public eye since they started doing movies in the '90s...

My knee-jerk reaction was Spiderman/Captain America/Wolverine, as these three seem to represent the iconic Marvel image, IMO. But, the fact that you have so varying an opinion even among folks who are deep in the Marvel mythology indicates that this is a circumstance of "not applicable".

If we are talking leaders/figureheads etc then I go with:
Captain America - Iron Man - Thor But if we are talking popularity with the general public Id say: Spider-Man - Wolverine - Hulk
