http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfpack_(Marvel_Comics)
Did anyone else read this 12 issue mini-series, started with one of the oversized graphic novels that Marvel used to do (the best one being X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills)? Pretty cool stuff by Larry Hama. About an ancient organization called the Nine that wants to rule the world and a group of martial artists that are formed to prevent that. Takes place, mostly, in the Bronx. I just remembered this series today as I was flipping thru some comics. Late 80s comics, but it was pretty good.

Oh yeah! I still have the graphic novel and the limited series. It was a good series that ended too quickly. Slippery Sam reminded me of a young Snake-Eyes.
Nth Man was also a favorite of mine. |

I am a huge Nth man fan so might give this a try Is the graphic novel a reprint of the 12 issues or are they two seperate stories?

I believe the garaphic novel led into the series. It's been a while since I read them.

I like the Red Fang Ninjas because they remind of 80's style ninjas.
They would fit right in this book

Aw drat...now you tell me... right after I just shipped off a few "Wolfpack" comics from my bargain bin box to the local ARC thrift store!
FWIW, "Wheels" from Wolfpack also had a solo story in an issue of "Marvel Comics Presents": Marvel Comics Presents #23 : Cyclops, Black Panther, The Falcon, & Wheels of Wolfpack I think that, originally, "Wolfpack" was set in "real" time. That is, a month would pass between issues and characters would age, accordingly. However, sales-wise, the book didn't do very well.
