Anyone reading The Transformers by IDW? I haven't read most of IDW's Transformers books since All Hail Megatron started. I was a fan of Fuhrman's direction, and when I found out that AHM wasn't really following that, I didn't really continue. It was cool seeing Guido Guidi's work though.
The Transformers features Mike Costa the SAME GUY who wrote G.I. Joe Cobra. Once I found out he was writing it, I was drawn back in. Then I found out 2005 boards member Don, AKA Don Figueroa was coming back too! I know his new designs have gotten flack for being movie-esque but I like them. So is anyone reading The Transformers? Is it as good as G.I. Joe Cobra so far? Better than AHM? |

Picked up the first two issues just before Christmas. Other than the faces which aren't that bad, but still feel a bit off to me; it's a great book. I'm glad to see Don's work again, I hope he sticks around for a long run on this one.

I read the All Hail Megatron series and really liked it, but I haven't read any of the other runs.
I wasn't sure how the time lines intercepted, its a little confusing. BUT.. I did pick up the Ghost Busters series by IDW its a fun read so far.

The new ongoing is set two years after AHM, I've read the first two I like how it's going and am going to give it six issues before I pass judgement.

I've read the first 2 so far. I'm definitely liking it. But I still think AHM is better.
