I never really used to read the comics I bought (except X-men); I just bought the ones with nice covers and used them as mini-posters.

Jim Lee's X-Men covers were always good. X-Tinction Agenda and X-ecutioner's Song had some great ones.

3 of my all-time favorites:
Green Lantern (forget the issue #, but here's the trade cover) Aquaman #17 from the FANTASTIC Peter David run (the cover if far cooler when seen in person, the colors just pop) Cobra Reborn #1 Great cover, great comic... the rest of the series was F$*king horrible. |

There are so many awesome comic covers. This is the first that comes to mind, Incredible Hulk #100 by Michael Turner.
