So I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this before but here goes:
I recently ordered a copy of the 1987 GI Joe Yearbook #3 from an online comic shop. I was all excited to read a sweet sweet silent story starring Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Scarlet. I cracked the book open, read the contents page on the inside cover, and then turned to page 1 to find...Inhumanoids. No GI Joe. Flipping through, the first 16 pages of the Inhumanoids story is there, then pages 17 to 48 of GI Joe, followed by pages 17 to 32 of Inhumanoids again. I've heard of misprints before, but I can't find anything on the internet about this particular misprint being commonplace. Any one out there have any info about this? |

I've never encountered; nor heard of; a comic misprint like that. Only thing I've seen is a comic with a two sets of a front/back cover. From my minimal experience in print production, I could see how the actual binding process could get mixed up.
Two things I'm curious about: 1. How are the staples on the spine? 2. What is the total number of pages in your Yearbook #3, including the front/back cover spread. Typically, the interior pages are a multiple of 4.
