I just started reading comics, I started with the devils due series. I am also reading the classic marvel series but I have very little issues. I just saw that IDW released paperbacks of the entire series in 15 volumes. Does anybody recommend this for somebody who just wants to read the entire story. What are the differences between the comics and these paperbacks???

the paperbacks are more readily available and probably work out cheaper.
i have all 15, plus the 4 Special Missions volumes and the one with the four Yearbooks. i recommend them most heartily. |

The tpb have a few typos. You might check to see it the second story from marvel #1 is in the first volume. I see to remember complains about it missing.

^ no it isn't. 'Hot Potato' is the one story not reprinted. the second story from #50 was reprinted in Special Missions vol. 1.

I would recommend the Bellomo 'complete' hardcovers if you haven't purchased the TPBs yet.

It is much funner to read the individual comic issues in hand as you get the ads and neat things like that from the 80s.
