Forgive me if that is a stupid question but I live in a rural area where the closest comic book shop is two hours away. I bought #0 and #1 on the net and was fairly impressed.
If there is a way to subscribe, do the comics come bagged and boarded or do they just let the mail carrier swat flies with them???? If there is a way to subscribe can someone PM me? What are the Pros and what are the Cons? Thanks, Doc

You can subscribe on the IDW website.
Pro-delivered to you, and early too it seems. Cons- cost. Its the comic price PLUS about $2 shipping PER ISSUE. |

I say find a nice LCS and give them your money. They will start a pull box for you and make sure you get all of your Joe comics.
And if you don't live near a comic store...try DCBS. |

I can only speak to IDW's subscription service as that is what I've done for the new Joe books but so far, really positive stuff.
Pros: **Quick/perhaps even early delivery. I got GI Joe #2 today (thurs) and I don't think its in comic shops till next week **Books come bagged and boarded in great shape Cons: **Kind of expensive. If you have a comic shop nearby not really worth it I do it because of convienience. Same reason I get most of my Joes online. I spend more but it shows up at my house which is worth it to me. |

Yeah I subscribe and it's like an additional $2 a comic. I just can't go to the comic book store. The one closest to me I just don't feel like going to. It has been coming real early for me so far. I got issue #1 two weeks early, and #2 more than a week early.
