The artwork so far is alright, not amazing but I wouldn't say it's terrible (gotta love the Adam Hughes Baroness cover). I'm still a fan of Stefano Caselli's work from the Devil's Due books though. I really wish Jae Lee would work on another Joe book, always liked his style and the work he did on the Dreamwave series was bad ass. |

I too wish the actual story was a bit longer for that many pages & price.

So we got a new Joe named "Brain Storm". Errr, excuse me, "Brain".
All of the testing stuff in the Pit reminded me of "Men in Black". I almost expected some 'wacky' slapstick antics in the background, where a lab blows up (complete with someone with a sooty face) or a buncha' "Fluffies" suddenly pop in. I've been somewhat of a purist and against the idea of TPB's for years...but I think I may join the club and wait for just that.

The story was good and the art work decent. I guess the biggest issue I have is being spoon fed the story in tiny bites. Knowing all the canon makes me impatient. I want it all and I want it now. But, I have enjoyed the three books I have read so far. I thought the origins book was amazing. Hawk is hardcore (fast lane to washout)!!
