The New Power Couple: Superman and Wonder Woman | Movie Talk - Yahoo! Movies
I've been wanting these two to hook up for ages.

Meh. Could be cool, could suck. I don't have a lot of faith with Johns writing it, he likes his couples too angsty.
I'll be amazed if it lasts two years, much less longer. It'd be nice if it would, just to see something "different from accepted status quo" that could stick, but given the entrenched mindset of comic fans coupled with the logistical difficulties caused by Wonder Woman and Superman having their own titles written by different folks...I just don't see it lasting long at all. All it'll take is one writer on one of the solo titles to say, "I don't like the relationship" and it's pretty much done unless there's a strong editorial mandate in place to keep it going. I don't agree with some of the naysayers that they're "too alike" to be interesting together, but it will in fact take some good writing to really "sell" the relationship beyond a (very understandable) physical attraction. Of course that's assuming this isn't another big fake-out that only lasts an issue or less before they decide they're "best friends" or whatever (even if Batman and Superman already seem to have claimed each other's BFF card in the Nu-52). |

I hate this.......Action 600 already went there, and I think that ended best...just because they "should" be together doesn't mean they outta be together. Old Clark clung to his humanity I guess this new Kal -El is clinging to his "super-meta" nature??? I'm not sure just guessing.
I don't like it myself, but I don't like the new DC---so I guess it isn't aimed at me anyway.

I'm down with it so long as it leads to a new TV show version with Dean Cain reprising his role and Olvia Munn as Diana.

I'm already reading New 52 Justice League anyway, so I'm all for it. Hopefully it'll last at least a few years.

Show's what I know, I stopped reading DC/Marvel comics back in the '90s.
