In issue 177 Snake Eyes' face is not seen, but the reader gets the impression that it is disfigured based on the guard and Barrenness' comments. Something about a "burn unit" is mentioned.
Is the continuation of ARAH ignoring the continuity from the Marvel run that he got reconstructive surgery, or did his face get messed up again between 155.5 and 177? Just curious. In Christ forever, Mike John 3:16 |

One of the Paine brothers threw hot coals in his face.

But even after the hot coals incident, there were plenty of issues when he did not wear his mask. A few scars, but nothing serious. As late as 151 he battled Cobra Commander w/ no mask. Certainly some scaring, but nothing too crazy.
Maybe the lighting was off in 177. LOL. In Christ forever, Mike John 3:16 |

His face was still scarred when he fought Cobra Commander, not as bad, but still scarred. He's still not pretty to look at.
