I'm posting another link, guys. This time, it's my review of Cobra #10.
Multiversity Comics: Review: Cobra #10 With more Major Bludd than we've seen in months, this was probably my favorite chapter of CC yet. What'd you guys think? |

I really liked this issue as well. Big developments in Cobra becoming a more visual entity and the new Cobra Commander shoring up his position while not even personally appearing in the issue. The council behind Cobra being eliminated by Baroness I like, as well as Tomax playing both sides as an agent of Cobra and being a large contributor financially to GI Joe.

Oh yeah, the Tomax stuff was fantastic!
I really wanted to spend more time on him in my review, but honestly, it's kind of hard to without spoiling some of the issue's best moments. Also love that Alex Cal's now drawing Tomax to look like a young Mick Jagger. |

I like your deep reviews, so I have to get this issue. IDW's big achievement was that they give us this new perspective about how uncotrollable the top characters are.

This has been constitently the best book in comics for awhile now. As you pointed out, this book has completely changed it focus from where it started yet hasn't missed a beat. Truly a great piece of work, and something I think could have made a truly great HBO or Showtime-esque TV series. This book is that good that it transcends the media and can stand on it's own as an incredible piece of spy-fiction. Something rare for a comic. Costa really doesn't get the praise he deserves.

This was a great ride. My concern was that we didn't have a chance to know better this council. Who they are, what does their presence mean, etc. Now IDW begun to take care of this. Oh and this unholy alliance of Bludd, Tomax and Serpentor is fun to watch.
My only problem is the vipers' helmet. First we got the "IDW" helmet, which was pretty cool from the beginning. Then we got the classic style helmet, and after that we got back the first one. But now we are getting a third one, that is kinda bulky. I know that there are several artists who work on these issues, but still not sure why this many variants are needed. |
