Hey - Question -
So I have been an avid collector of the GI Joe comics since they relaunched with "Reinstated" I have (nearly) every one, all read once or twice and kept nice and neat in comic boxes. I need to downsize, and have been thinking about selling them. Two questions - 1) are they worth anything? I'm talking about IDW, Devil's Due, Declassified, Origins, Stormshadow, Snake Eyes, Operation HISS GI Joe Vs. Tformers... Do I have to "part them out" or could I sell it as a lot? I don't do a lot of selling - mostly a ton of buying :( 2) Do you think it would be possible to find folks who would be interested in trading TPBs for original comics? The TPBs are smaller and easier to store (and I'm less worried about hurting them, as they aren't COLLECTIBLE). Thanks! |

Worth anything...I doubt any of the runs you mention is gonna net big bucks.
But there are people out there that may buy them. As for trading individual issues for trades again there maybe people out there that would prefer that. But I think the odds are you'll either be selling at a loss or holding on to what you have. There just isn't a big demand for any of those series. Actually there's not much demand for ANY Joe comic, except maybe some of the Marvel run...1...21...maybe the issues where someone debuted or died, posssibly the final issue, but even at that none of those are exactly impossible to find at decent prices. The one and only exception might be the Todd McFarlane special issue. G.I. Joe Comic Book Archive Which I don't even own. Mainly because at BEST price I've seen it for $80...and have seen it up as much as $300....I'm not paying that. |
