Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well our most loyal Crimson Guardsmen is back. I just picked up #1 of CE3 and really enjoyed it. I'm a huge fan of all things Kir Kanos/Crimson Empire but I thought II was just a watered down version of the original. Too much filler. I mean it had some high points and for the price if you're a fan I'd recommend picking up a TPB, just don't expect it to have the same punch the original did. Having said all that...Crimson Empire III has started off with a bang and kicks all kinds of ass. 1st of all, we see some major SW movie characters, 2nd it's got a ton of action and 3rd....if it keeps going this way, this could be the best SW EU since the original CE. Hope someone else here is reading this title!! (and release some new damn Crimson Empire figures already!) |

There is also a Comic Pack of both Crimson Guardsman the story revolves around. I always loved that set. |

I will concur -
Crimson Empire was one of the only comic trades I bought while in college (money was REALLY tight). But I bought that book and read it 1000 times. It is awesome. The second is seriously weak in comparison - some neat ideas that they took from R and made G - They pulled their punches way too much for my tastes in the second one. The first though - is a fantastic Star Wars tale. |
