I really liked the WWIII story, and was saddened hen I heard DDP lot the license. I was looking forward to what O'Sullivan and Powers had planned next...especially after reading O'Sullivans comments in one of the Joe Declassified news letters. He was the first writer at DDP that I felt really got the characters and the team dynamic.

R.I.P. America's Elite.
DDP rocked Joe and if WWIII hadn't had to rush to its finale it would be the absolute best story line for Joe ever. |

I really liked Storm Shadow's costume towards the end of the run.

The main thing i liked..it was a End to my joe.The 80s were my joe and DDP put a nice ending on things.I'm happy letting the next generation of joe fans get "their" joe.

I'm paraphrasing here and there were more tidbits revealed. It can be found in the first Joe Declassified Newsletter. Joe Declassified

I was really disappointed when DDP lost the Joe licence. The IDW run has been very poor in my opinion but I will say I have started to get into the series a bit more in the past three months . I would say it is still only in the 50% range compared to the DDP run.
