A buyer on ebay named jgoldtoy bought a convention box set from me. He then emails me saying there is a nick in the box and asked if it came that way or was it damaged in shipping. He then said he spent so top dollar on it he demanded it to be perfect. I knew there was no damage before packing it. I told him top dollar is actually $345. He said $345 was an inflated number and no one would ever pay that. I then asked him to send me a pic of the damage. He never sends a pic or replies to my email, but leaves me negative feedback.
Minor damage. Seller blamed it on shipping and said I got a deal. GI JOE Convention Vacation In The Shadows Figures red (#160507642160) I then found out from another ebay member that had the same problem with jgoldtoy. He showed me how he lies about the damage to receive a partial refund. He then sells the perfect condition item under the name liquidroc as to not track down his scam. You just might want to block this guy from bidding on your auctions.

Yeah, I can add my story to this. Over the past month, I noticed Jgoldtoy winning alot of my auctions. I thought 'Geesh, if this guy wanted to, he could screw with my feedback'... so on a whim, I checked his feedback left for others. Sure enough, I saw that's exactly what he did to several others: win multiple auctions, then claim damage or missing items and demand a refund.
But everything was fine with me so far, so I tried not to sweat it. Then, last week, I get the email 'I'm missing one of the items you sent with combined shipping'. Now keep in mind, this was a MONTH after it had been delivered. Luckily for me, they were all Sigma 6 figures, and pretty hefty, so I had my proof that the weight I had listed in the individual auctions, matched EXACTLY the weight of the package I mailed. I emailed him back, asked him to check his items again. Then I noticed that, with all the Joe stuff he buys, he doesn't sell. So I did a little digging... and found his seller ID: liquidroc. So after another email from him (where he now claimed TWO of the three figures were missing)... I told him I knew about his other account, and I wasn't about to be extorted. Then he went ahead and nailed me with the neg feedback (which, going by his history, he would have done even if I gave into his demands). I spent yesterday morning sending messages to all the people he had ripped off, giving them the name of his other account, to go and see if any of the 'missing' or 'damaged' items were there. Turns out, most were way ahead of me and had figured it out for themselves. So, long-story-long, DON'T let this creep bid on your stuff. And if you buy from him... it might be something he ripped off someone else. Last edited by MightyMegs; 03-15-2011 at 09:35 AM.. |

That's why I don't leave feedback until after the buyer has left feedback. He's got no negatives or does Ebay not allow sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers? I haven't used Ebay in a long time so I don't know the changes.

Sellers can't leave neg feedback. That's why he sells under another account... once secret, but not anymore.
