Hi,

The majority of my dealings on HISSTank have been very favourable, but I am currently involved in one that has put a bad taste in my mouth.

Last month I arranged to do a trade with the above listed Tank member; InCobraWeTrust aka James Doyle. I was trading a lot of six figures from this and last years Joecon (Zombie Viper X 2, Steel Brigade Zombie, Lab Rat, Toxic Viper and S.A.W. Viper) for a Mission Brazil II Stinger with Motor Viper. I thought it was a fair trade for both people involved.

Just after I arranged for the trade I was contacted by Crimsongrimlock from here on the Tank and he advised me that the guy I was trying to deal with was Nathan Doyle and that he had ripped off other traders and buyers. I looked up InCobraWeTrust's feedback and he had some decent feedback from some well known Tankers. I also PMed him and asked about why I was being contacted by someone telling me he was dishonest. He gave me this response:

"My figures from this year's con just came in. Are you still up for a trade? Did you talk to the guy who told me not to trade with you as per the PM I sent you? Let me know. Cheers.

Im still game for the trade. And that isn't Me who he is talking about. I don't know where or why he would do that saying that. I refuse to chat with him any longer."

I decided to take the chance (much to my dismay, thank you to Crimsongrimlock for trying to warn me) and sent my figures after he ensured me that he sent mine and would let me know as soon as mine arrived. I did put tracking on the figures I sent as a precaution.

After a few weeks and after I knew he had received the figures I sent this PM:

“I am just checking in to see if you received the figures yet. I have not gotten mine yet, but it has not been very long. Cheers.

Hey Scott, sorry for the late reply. No I have not yet received any packages but hopefully tomorrow it should show up. Ill do my best to keep You posted. Hopefully they'll arrive soon seeing how we mailed them awhile ago! I'll let You know if anything turns up.”

Now I knew he was being dishonest so I sent him this PM:

“Hi,

I actually had tracking on your parcel so I ran the number and it arrived and was delivered at 2:10 PM last Friday May 7th. Here is the link to USPS.com:

The tracking number is: LM012747719CA

Please explain why you said that you have not received anything yet when it was picked up and recorded as successfully delivered. This is not something that would slip your mind and it had to be picked up to have the number recorded. Did you have tracking on my parcel or do you have a copy of the receipt that you paid for shipping?

So that is where is stands. I gave him two days to contact me, but he has never gotten back to me since I sent him this PM. I can see by his information page that he has been online several times in the last week, so he definitely would have seen all my posts on his wall and my PMs. I don’t know if I have any recourse, and am looking into that now, but I wanted to let everyone know so no one else gets fooled by him. Hmm, I remember doing a trade w/ Incobrawetrust a few months back. If I recall correctly, this member was female. Or at least was using a female name.

I wonder if this account could have possibly been hacked and used for malicious purposes?

Not sure about this member. I sent him some PMs in the past because InCobraWeTrust is always posting that he wants this or that figure. When I send him a PM with items I have off his want list the member stops contact.

I am sorry you got ripped off by this member. Hope ICWT comes through and does the right thing for you.

A bounty hunter...that sounds like a great idea. So no one else gets scammed by this person, here is Doyle's address:
