I had been contacted by Incobrawetrust about some figures I was after. He said he had all of em (too good to be true, I suppose :P) and was happy to give me a good deal to help out a new collector. 3 weeks later and he says he still hasnt received my payment, and wont work out a trade for the figures, or msg me back at all for that matter. I'm out about a hundred bux with nothing to show for it -__-

Some research suggests that he's been scamming other people on other sites (blackberry, etc) and might actually be on probation.

He's been scamming people for a very long time, across multiple boards.

Now, I don't want to defame anyone as it may be a completely different person...but Nate/James/Whatever always claims that its his "brother" or someone doing the shady shit and he's just caught up in it.

Thanks to everyone. I have been doing a bit of research and I can't believe this guy has been getting away with ripping people off for so long. He must have made thousands over the years in money and merchandise.

Apparently Ohio, where he is from, has had a lot of problems with cyber theft, so in 2012 they passed a law that can make it a criminal offense punishable by jail time. (before it was just fines and restitution) My case is just one of many that have been documented here, so when you add it all up there is probably enough fraud that he has perpetrated that would warrant further investigation. I will look into who are the proper authorities to file a report with. It is certainly not the money in my case, because I only lost around $200 worth of merchandise, but it is the principal. If we could get one person like this taken out of the picture, or at least brought to the attention of the authorities, it would help the hobby and make people a little bit more wary to scam in the future.

I know that from now on I will be doing a Google maps search for anyone I deal with in Ohio (just Springfield, not the whole state and if it is in the same neighbourhood I will be very wary. He has used multiple names and addresses, but the last two addresses he has used were only four blocks away from each other.

If there is anyone else who has been scammed by this guy, please feel free to add your input...the more evidence the better. Cheers.

I'm glad this is such a great community :P This is my first time being burned, but it's reassuring to learn that not everyone on here is a lowlife. Lost about $100, but I guess it's a good way to learn to be a bit more careful in the future!

I have shipped to that address as a seller on ebay fairly recently. The only reason I remember is I lived in Ohio for a big chunk of my late teens&early 20's,and have never seen Springfield,lol. I may have another name/email address for you OP,and if it's through ebay/paypal it's probably a real name,since you need bank/credit info...lemme look,I sell a LOT of stuff on ebay,so it may take a minute. I'll PM you with it if I can find it.
