So I picked up this new greatest battles dvd pack. And I have to say I think it sucks lol

I got it for the snake eyes. but after I opened it, I realized I didn't like it one bit...The cobra commander is ok, and snake eyes, but SS and duke are horrible! I mean one of the worst 2 figures I have seen out of all the stuff released since 2008.

There might be some good parts for making custom figures, but I haven't got good enough for that yet, so I dunno?

My advice for those who haven't wasted their money on this 4 pack yet, is don't do it!! lol

The DVD is mainly just clips from various Joe episodes and movies. I have not been this disappointed in a joe set until now.

I feel this pack was made for the young joe fans wanting more versions of the core characters.

yea i saw it for 25 and had to pass

once the price hits 25 i have to really think how much i like the item

i was like hell no im not paying 25 for Repaints
and i had no clue whut was on the dvd so i diddnt take a chance
and im a guy that has to have evrything i still diddnt want it bad enuff

I still want this set... but I might wait for it to go on sale, or buy one from one of you guys who hates it, lol.

IMO, the only thing worth picking up in the set is Cobra Commanders head.

Does this set come with one of the Mass Device pieces? My son is harassing me to complete that thing, and I only have the first two DVD packs. LOL

It looks like a bunch of bad left-over "frankenstein" Joes after someone used the good parts for customs, and returned the frankensteins to the store in the package for refund (as I have seen more than once).

This was really a retarded idea by Hasbro. I don't know what they were smoking when they thought this horrible looking crap would sell.

maybe Hasbro decided that they should follow suit and put out a "re-pack" DVD set

as if we already didnt have enough CC's, Dukes, SE's and Stormy's
they throw us a collection that looks like it was pieced together and painted in the dark.

Im just happy that the 25th/Modern lines hiatus wont be starting on this note.. thankfully we have the wave 5 vehicles and 2 7packs to look forward too!

Yeah, I think most are going to wait til this is on clearance a few months from now...And then we'll see threads like "OMG, I can't find the Greatest Battles 4-Pack!!!"..."GB 4-Pack at Target on Clearance!!!"...gotta love that vicious cycle:)

I really think this pack was directed towards the younger fans, but even for that purpose these look bad. Those HISS legs aren't really versatile, and seeing them on CC proves it. I expect to see a LOT of Special Ops and Ninja customs after this thing hits clearance!

four 6-8 minutes clips from some gawd-awful CG Joe cartoon... Venom vs. Valor, i guess. not even full episodes....
