These are the advanced rules for the GI JOE game,they are not needed to win the game,but will enhance the amount of play you get out of your turn!
**In this game,each team starts out in a seperate continent. The battle that is starting down below is the second in this "Risk" type game. Whichever TEAM wins this round may choose to move in to a new continent. It is up to your team leader to where you go in the world. After you take the country,you may choose to retake a lost continent or take another neutral one. The team who controls all seven continents first,rules the world!**
1. RANKS:
As Class one or two.
1 kill- Pvt.
2 kills- Specialist
3 kills- Sgt.
4 kills- Lt.
5 kills- Brig. General (Gives the Power to petition for next location)
As Class three.
4 points of heals - Specialist
8 points of heals - Lt.
12 points of heals - Brig. Gen (Gives the Power to petition for next location)
24 Points of heals - General (One step under War Council)
As Class four. (Sniper)
1 kill - Apprentice
2 kills - Journeyman
3 kills - Expert
2. Tips for the use of Medics -
Medics are absolutely essential to controlling a continent! If you continue healing a soldier on your team that goes unnoticed,you may heal them up as long as you like. You could essentially be losing in terms of KO's,but have a FLINT with 120 Hp! Wow! Imagine if you all worked together!
3. There are more classes on the way,once the council decides which ones to accept,you may change if you wish,with no damage to you or your team,I suggest you choose wisely!
4. Moving from one continent to another is governed by a teams current leader,although the move may be petitioned by a GENERAL on the team,therefore voided. Once a team controls all of the continents,they win the world,and with it,the game.
5. Rules for Sniping Class
Hurts/Heals: 1/0
The sniper only does one damage to an enemy every post......until that enemy is 4 HP or below. You see,when an enemy character reaches 4 HP,you may take a "KILL SHOT" that deals 4 damage.
Snipers go up in their own rank, and may change teams whenver they please.
A sniper may not change classes for the current game in play,but may switch to that class starting next round. Keep in mind though,you may not post a hurt for one point,lowering an enemy to 4 HP and then taking a kill shot,you may still only post once per day. THIS CLASS IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO LIEUTENANTS AND UP REGARDLESS OF PREVIOUS CLASS
6. Rules for LIFE SAVING
The medics (class 3's) get something similar, like a save,where if a player is is dead and a class 3 hasn't used his turn that day,then he/she can save the life of a dead player and bring him back up to 2 HP. The catch is
you can only do it once to the same character
(so once a character is saved, he's never able to be saved again in that same round). The save has to occur within 12 hours of the KO.
