His loss. I like BTAS, and the sorta art-deco look works for it, but GI Joe's more detailed and dynamic animation designs are infinitely better, and more interesting. I also suspect that BTAS kinda kickstarted the slippery slope toward lack of detail in animation to where almost everything is that gosh awful "Cal-arts style" today.

I'm surprised that GI Joe was still being tossed around in deals like this new one with Paramount. I'm kinda hoping that after Paramount made so much on Top Gun Maverick, they want to make a 80s action style GI Joe movie (They could even reuse the Tomcat CGI model). But that seems like a longshot at this point.
