I generally prefer original parts where I can, but it also depends on how rare/expensive the part is and what kind of shape the toy is in otherwise. I also keep up a spreadsheet of my figures/vehicles noting if any parts are not original or if they've been touched up. I don't ever plan to sell my current vintage collection, but I didn't plan to sell my ME collection either but ended up doing so a few years ago.

I also have zero problem with reproduction stickers. So many of the original ones have been damaged, gone gooey, or were placed crooked originally by a kid (I know, I was one of them). Normally speaking, I expect to replace any stickers on any vintage GI Joe toys that I buy as part of my cleaning process. It's rare when I get a vintage toy that the original stickers are still good enough to keep on there.
