Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles (with animated special)
Battle Corps Rangers/Battle Rangers
Ninja Commandos
Star Brigade (with the Manimal and Replicator sub-themes and an animated special)
12” Hall of Fame and a likely expansion to more WW2 themed ideas.
A lot of people get all misty-eyed over not getting Battle Rangers, they forget the other segments of GI Joe that would have been released during that year.
Extreme was Kenner making a toy line in most Kenner way possible.
I am one of the misty-eyed Battle Rangers people - unashamed to admit it LOL. To me that line had so much potential and would of been a chance for me to get a Whale and or Transportable Battle Platform (I was 12/13 so right on the cusp of toys not being ok to play with anymore but I would of gotten them). Alot of the figures looked great as well with the return to more militaristic roots.
The history of that time is very interesting to hear though since I was oblivious to it while it was happening. I always enjoy hearing from people who can provide the back story into what transpired and why they shelved ARAH.
