Ok, technically they are not called retro, but you get the point. They are all the “vintage” sculpts on the “vintage“ packaging. That is a pattern. Star Wars having some recasted parts was just an example that just because the old molds are gone they could recast some of them. It was just looking at the recent trend and extrapolating. Much more logical than just guessing what they might be. They very well could be new sculpts on old packaging based on the 25th line.
Marvel Legends is an example of why this may not be the case, but they really are just 6” versions using the packaging designs of the old 4”. They are also not exclusives. I wouldn’t expect that based on the price alone for the G.I. joe line. Maybe eventually we will see that for exclusives.
