OK I can see the staff from the wildlife park coming by to collect the monkey. This type of thing happens here in the US, I don't see why it wouldn't happen in the UK. Now that said, most people who work for wildlife companies/foundations care about animals, I highly doubt they would just start grinding a live monkey in front of children for some restaurant. More than likely they would capture the monkey, then return it to the owners.
Not to mention, if this story was true, why would a staff member from a wildlife park be the one to prepare "food" for a south american restaurant? He wasn't even at said restaurant.
3rd off, I doubt the teacher (who would now be dealing with a classfull of traumatized children) would think it was a great way to keep the children obediant by telling them they'll get ground up like the monkey

Yup, pretty much. The giveaway is that it makes no sense for him to grind up the monkey on the spot. Like he brought his handy dandy meat grinding set up with him in the truck. Just wait to get back to the restaurant.
