General note I'm seeing:
these figures come with a LOT of stuff. No stands, granted, but a LOT of general gear, including stuff that really isn't necessary. Not quite PoC level overkill, but certainly WAY more than fans were bitching about last year.

It's gonna be hella cool seeing that Tomahawk get Fireflyed with LED lights!

Lots to look forward to. Was worried with what Retaliation brought us so far, reduced articulation and all, but I have been impressed with the sculpting of the figures out already. Looks as if it's going to get interesting. Will definitely pick up an Eaglehawk, and looking forward to the new Lift-Ticket. Date Viper and Kwinn are especially anticipated. I must say I am ecstatically impressed with the Cobra Eel, and the Night Landing Craft accessories are awesome. I hope that BBI Elite Force-styled weapons crate is part of the deal. The Cobra Combat Ninja and Crimson Guard look awesome. That Budo is really unexpected - especially how delicate it looks. But Hasbro seems to be giving the adult collectors what they want once again. It ebbs and flows. Still waiting to see the Mindbender and Bludd previously mentioned. I really hope distribution is not an issue. As long as HTS keeps their stock available online, I'll be happy.

I like the Cobra Commander, but I wish we would get a movie accurate version. Then the same goes for FF and SS.

A new F%$$ Tomahawk!!!!

Ultimate Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow are neat- I'll be buying two of the Commanders. Storm Shadow's is nearly perfect but, the head doesn't match well. I'll be switch out the head. Of course, the Night Landing we saw a year ago is still awesome.
The Eaglehawk is better than I expected with a new Lift Ticket, additional headset accessories and a larger interior compartment. Lift Ticket doesn't look ARAH but, the figure could easily be used for as another pilot.

Lift Ticket looks amazing using Data Viper's torso, great update.

"Eagle Hawk" looks like the first vehicle I'll be buying in a loooong time. So what's its full carrying capacity? I see 4 rear seats. Now, how about a COBRA troop carrier?!?!

Still not into the Crimson Guard. Funky helmet. A 30th update to the 25th classic version would have been preferred.

"Ultimate" everything is really not necessary at this point. I'm not disputing that the sculpting, accessories, paint apps, and everything else you can critique about these figures is top notch, but haven't we seen enough already?! Cobra Commander v1...I mean really? There are currently 53 distinct CC figures in existence, and of those 22 of them are roughly based on this same design, when is enough enough? Technology will one day arrive at the point that these figures will be all but minutare humans, with fabric texture, and 1:18th guns that shoot bullets, but does that really mean we need to keep getting updates of them? Same goes for SE, and SS.

With that said, Budo is awesome, totally new and unexpected direction for a character that hasn't seen love in 20 years...perfect choice, and an INTERESTING and IMAGINATIVE take on the character. We need MORE of this!!!!

I'm not really a vehicle guy, and I never owned the original Tomahawk, so I can't say I have any strong feelings on it positive or negative I'm glad everyone is happy about it though. I am still inclined to say I'd rather we get new concepts but that's just my opinion.

I was skeptical - to say the least!

So, who's the figure standing next to the Night Landing Raft in front of the Cobra Eel, behind the ultimate Snake Eyes? There are no clear shots of him - looks like a Joe wearing light green or brown duds with a tactical assault helmet.

My favorites are the "movie ultimate" trio of Flint, Roadblock, and Duke.

Sunbow CC and SS.... I'm not really feeling. They are unquestionably the best looking versions of those designs, but I was hoping for a CC that could stand alongside my POC/30th Cobra troopers and vipers and not look out of place. As for SS, I like my 30th version. I'll probably get these anyway, but not that excited.

Data Viper and Kwinn are passes for me. Both are kind of goofy. I can only imagine that their popularity is due to their cancellation.

I'll be buying an Eaglehawk, mostly for the sake of nostalgia as it just doesn't have the wow factor in 2013 that it did in 1986. But I'm happy the rotor blades are collapsible/removable. If they were as brittle as the original, I would have passed.

IDK, I kind of view it as if they decided to re-release that HTF Best of 80s CC (which most people seem to regard as the best classic CC yet), except tweaking and improving it in the process, creating what the 25th version always wanted to be.

Your complaint is certainly understandable, but I guess this new CC just doesn't bother me because I have actively avoided all the 25th versions, and have sold or traded away any I did somehow obtain. I just never thought those versions did real justice to the main baddie.

I have zero complaints, this is all just...WOW! That Budo is a work of art, glad to see him get an update. Tomahawk, sign me up for 2 minimum. Sunbow designs, Unnecessary...maybe, but they look so damn good. Kwin and Data-Viper...Ok Hasbro let's not turn this into a second death, when I have them in hand I'll believe they'll be released, not one second before.
