Not too crazy about any of these guys except for the Stevenson Firefly. I am so getting him. Flint is real let down for me. I know he has to look like the actor portraying him but... I just dont like it.

Eh, my Wave 2 pre-order with BBTS is cheaper.

I'm cutting back on joe stuff, what with the econom as it is and no signs of improvement, and with the beginning of the year FICA tax and all, but there are definitley a few things that are must-have for me in this collection. I'm not terribly crazy for the FF in green, but I'll get it because it's FF. I'm gonna hold out for retail though, because I think these things will be plentiful.

I'd say no sooner than March or April at retail. But since you're in Italy and buying it online, maybe a little sooner.

I only see myself picking up Firefly, Roadblock and Snake Eyes from wave 2! I want to see a video review on Roablock before I purchase him though!

For me I am excited about Firefly. I like the actor's look and this makes a great unmasked look for Firefly. I'll probably use the head on the 3 pack Firefly.

I'm all about Ninja Duel Snake Eyes. The Roadblock figure is pretty cool, too.

Flint and Firefly appear to have the reduced articulation of the first Retaliation wave, unfortunately...no ankles, single-joint knees, etc.

Any idea when these are hitting retail?

I got my eyes set on Roadblock, Firefly, Flint, and Snake Eyes. Pass on Storm Shadow.
I dont know why Hasbro is even bothering with this SS.....its just an OBVIOUS repaint from ROC..

These will be in stores in February for the spring reset. Sounds like these are not in high demand so I'll wait to find a new snake eyes then.

I plan to buy all of these guys, but honestly I don't expect them to be hard to find. I'll wait and pay retail prices for them. Hopefully it will help me find wave three at my local store.

Storm Shadow is about the only one I want, love his Joe uniform.

At those prices I'd wait two weeks. Retailers will be performing resets and retaliation is already returning to shelves. I'm betting there will be retaliation wave 2 as well since original 2012 shipments only included wave 1.

There are a couple I want in this wave but I'm not paying extra for them. These movie toys will be easy to find at retail.

Hopefully the 3 packs hit soon. I want Mouse and the 3 Pack Firefly. I am also interested in the Combat Ninja dude in the wave 3 shouldn't pre-orders for that wave be coming out soon. I still have old wave 3 on pre-order at bbts.

I'm not too excited for any of those (I'll probably get Firefly), but it's nice to finally see some ramp-up for the movie - even something minor like this.

Is it me or does it seem like we're not getting a lot of figures? It seemed like there were a zillion for ROC. Hasbro thought they had a home-run on their hands and it was a dud.

I think in general Hasbro is coming to their senses a little bit in terms of production numbers, this is why (at least as of yet) you haven't seen any huge number of PoC or 30th figures lingering around on shelves, but more importantly why you haven't seen them show up at ROSS, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.

Maybe it's just the reality of the economy, or maybe someone at Hasbro finally caught on to the fact that movie toys only have a shelf life of about 4-6 weeks and that is never enough time to clear out the glut of product most movie toy lines receive. So by producing less SKUs and manufacturing in lower numbers, it will in theory allow them to reach their appropriate retail buying market without having to unload heaps of unsold product to discount stores.

On a personal note, I'm glad there is less Retaliation product. To this day, over 3 years later, I STILL don't own every RoC figure!

I noticed a lot of people in this thread are saying, "There's not much that looks good to me here, I'm only buying XXX"

It's good to see that in a lot of cases, people are prefering a different set of XXX.

I think the Retaliation run is going to be just fine.....

I buy one of each figure when it comes to GIJOE. The production numbers on the Retaliation line were confirmed by Hasbro to be produced to go in and out of retail. Wave 1 is all but gone and I'm sure Wave 2 will sell just as quick. Who knows, you may see the movie and want to buy those figures that you missed out on. Then you will all be posting up hate threads on why Retaliation figures are so high on the after market.

Support the line and hand the figures you don't want to a kid playing video games.

I buy at least two of each, but I'm a sick completionist. One MOC, one to open, and way too many troop builders. And Heaven help me if they go one sale. Think I have about 8 Serpent Armors, 12-18 HISSes, 6 stingers, 6 FANGs, 6-8 CLAWs, and God only knows what else. About 400 loose figs and all of that is just my Modern Era stuff.

No new characters = pass. Simple as that.

Why does Firefly keep selling out... HE'S AWFUL!! SNake Eyes on the other hand is pretty slick, yet not shifting as much.

I am not a completionist, but those figures that I do buy, I buy multiples. In gonna have quite a few of the other two Cobras available for sale or trade out of the Cobra 3 pack, as I have plans for multiple Firefly's.

I blame POC Snake Eyes and the over use of Snake Eyes on that.

I feel the opposite that SE just isn't that special and does not hold a candle to the POC "Ultimate"SE we got last year. It's an easy pass for me. I am liking the movie accurate Road Block and I plan on grabbing the Flint for the head sculpt and beret. I xan wait on the rest till I see it in person and then I'll decide I am sure I'll get a Firefly for the head sculpt as well but it can wait.

Well I will be posting up High-Res images of all of wave 2 this week. Hopefully I can change some minds and get people supporting the line that were not going to buy these figures.

I am sure after it's all said and done I'll end up with more than a fair share of Wave 2 and 3. I'm a sucker for Ninjas so the black ninja is a must. I also they to have one of each figure to keep carded and I don't see that changing, but I am cutting back on the loose army builders. I don't have any place for the likes of the Alley Vipers or the futuristic ninja robot. Really looking forward to Colton, Lady Jaye and the next wave of 3 packs.

I plan on picking up a few at retail. I just don't want to pay 14 bucks plus shipping for figures that will be at retail for 9.99 or less. Plus with figures being 9.99 each now I have to think about saving money for Joe Con in the spring.

This is how I feel. Plus I need to have money to buy lots of the later wave army builders. Night Vipers,Crimson Gaurds and that movie Cobra trooper with the camo.

I already have Snake-Eyes.
