I went the other day to buy some of the 2.0 stuff (different hips than the 1.0 stuff on the site now), but it is not even listed. I hope they bring it back.
Firebomber8:
Its B.S. Scalper sites like this that are driving the prices on G.I. Joe stuff sky high.

Lets see I can go to the Dollar General on the corner and buy a Duke for $6 or I can go to this site and buy the same figure for $18 Are you kidding me?

There is a million of these sites out there and they are ruining G.I Joe toys. G.I. Joe toys are hard enough to find as it is with out these websites buying up all the toys and then scalping them at outrageous prices. Just my opinion. You guys don't have to agree with it.
youdoitimbusy:
You do realize your sponsoring a forum that supports a product intended for children? Who's manufacturer refused to put on the shelves before the highest toy sales period of the year?.....Yeah, welcome to the definition of insanity...you'll fit right in;)

I totally agree with this....I have been buying from this site for a while now but only for filecards, blueprints and clearance stuff. The prices on this site are just way too high.

I don't agree that it is all sites though, there are some good "parts" sites and such that are very reasonable.
Raw Dog:
I like Guru-Planet. I've purchased plenty of stuff from them over the years at very affordable prices.
loiosh:
kind of pricey...even the sale prices.. wont be shopping there sorry.

If you understand that not everyone is in your position...what's your point?

There are no Dollar General stores where i live, for me to get to a General Store i would probably need to take a long ass trip to another state. So for me to pick up that stuff is impossible outside of getting them online from either the trading/buy section of this site, ebay, or places like this.

That price is for folks who OBVIOUSLY cant get these figures, folks who if they really want to get this stuff were going to have to go an extra mile anyway.

If you really have that much of a problem then why dont you setup your own site and offer competitive pricing, then?
ljtbinc:
Haha I like what crazy legs response!! If you were too look at half of our b/s/t list were just as much of a scalper as guru-planet!! I for one is glad their sponsoring this site!!

I know you werent referring to me. but I would like to say. Its nothing personal on my part. I am just lucky enough to have a vintage toy store in my area and they are way cheaper on price. so I dont have a need to buy from them at what seems to me high prices. if they were cheaper,i would support there store. I too see why some things are higher like crazy legs not having a dg in his state ad what not, but its the same argument for me but different , I have the means to buy cheaper so why wouldnt I.
03Mach1:
Thanks for sponsoring the Tank. Good luck selling anything to anyone on the site with your redonculous prices.

Did you stop reading before the part that says, you guys don't have to agree with my opinion???
crock master:
roc was and awsome movie, if you like turd sandwich's
McSoundwave:
On the whole, his list prices on the site seem to be a bit steep, but I used to live local to him and bought a few things direct from his "warehouse" at a discounted rate. In person he was a pleasure to deal with and ended up giving me a pretty good deal all things considered. Anyway, personal experience aside, G-P will likely find it a tough sell to this entitled bunch residing here, but no matter...welcome and best of luck!
jogunwarrior:
Never been to their site before, but after checking out their prices I think I will take my chances with Ebay!
GIMark:
Good selection of stuff, but the prices are a tad on the high side, especially when one of the others spnsors has some better pricing...

Yes, read everything but the very last sentence where you say that.

But seriously, this is board, you will get replies to your posts that you dont really have to answer. This is just part of an on-going conversation.
