G.I. Joe Sigma 6 Adventure Team Dusty adventure00001
New production images of G.I. Joe Adventure Team Dusty are now up for your viewing pleasure. Much like Sigma 6 Ground Blast Heavy Duty that did see extremely limited production, such was the fate of this great Adventure Team Set.

That's not bad at all. Do you have a link to pics of the Heavy Duty set for my personal archive?
Deckard:
i saw these in stres when they "tried" to revitalize the sigma look and meh...easy pass. Besides I like the adventure team stuff and made my own out of a target awe set. Will probably do more once i can find something to make the old adventure team command vehicle.
Crimson Cobra Commander:
    They still make this garbage?
Roshan:
So where do these pics come from? Foreign seller?
QBERT:
sweet! I'm a big SIGMA 6 fan....so I would have welcome this set with opem arms.
Thal J.:
That is really disappointing, I would have loved to add that to my collection.
General Hawk:
Awesome. Awesome awesome, awesome. Part of me is jealous that I don't have this in my collection, but another part of me is just happy to see pictures of it surface. I'm certain there are Adventure Team Wave 2 samples out there somewhere.

A very cool figure for a very cool toyline that died too early.

    Thanks for sharing!

I know alot of folks hate the style of the sigma figures, but they were onto a great idea with them. And the scale was perfect too. I'm still a little sad to see them go. They used to remind me of old mego figures.
samantha:
I was never a big fan of the Sigma 6 stuff, but he looks OK.
sonofdestro:
That is a big ass scorpion. Whats with the holes in its back. is that where the saddle gos so he can ride it? He would look bad ass riding that scorpion swinging that Scorpion King sword over his head.
havokss22:
Holy hell that is awesome, why didn't hasbro finish the line out with the figs they showed protos of.

Destro, where did you get the figure from? Are their more pics, like of Dusty geared up??

BTW thank you for sharing.. just awesome.

There will be in about 2 weeks.
QBERT:
I will have my SIGMA 6 loose collection pics up soon...
Axelay:
Man, I'd have added this to my other Adventure Team guys without a second thought. I like the G3 rifle he comes with.

Kinda what i wanted to know but it makes no sense that there would be a scorpion big enough for a person to ride upon.

    LOL tease...

the Sigma line (by which I am including all the spinoffs in the style) had some of the best Joe figures ever made. Torpedo, Shockblast, Lt. Stone, Recondo, Destro, Arctic Duke, just to name a few, are as good as the best RAH or 25th style figures. I wish I had the space to display my collection alongside my 25th, and I wish I could have added this figure to it.

I can dig him.If this line would of keep with the soilder class. It would still be going. They tried to save it a little to late. There was so many Joes they could of done in this style and been winners.

It's funny to hear somebody say they liked the soldier class figures over the Commando. I hated the Soldier packaging, the Commando boxes were full of win.

that's the shame, Hasbro really figured the line out but too late in the game.

I didn't like the foot lockers.I sent them straight to the trash. After they stopped do that,it took $5-6 off the cost.It gave us new scuplts(and better i think),Like the IGs,Inferno,Lockdown,CB destro.

I got into the game late too.I was one of those types that condemed it to hell. Then i got my son a Scuba Duke and was like...Holy shit, these are the coolest toys i've played with(yes,i play with my toys)in a long time.

Once it starts warming up.I'll be hitting the woods, lakes, creeks, ponds, where ever to take some outside dio shots.

I got into it late as well. I got a Scuba Duke and Tunnel Rat free when Toys R Us had a free gievaway, but couldn't bring myself to buy any even though I thought they were great, until Windfire Cobra Commander came out and I had to have him. after that, the floodgates opened for me and I started picking up every figure I could find.
CrimsonGuard101:
I think I would have liked them if they had been made in 3 3/4 size like the rest of the joes. If i had as many of these at this size as I have in regular sized joes I would need to contact US Steel and have them build me a Warehouse to display them in....
green firefly:
This is my least favorite of the adventure team set. The scorpion is disappointing. But Dusty is one of my favorite characters. I would definitely buy it.

Hell yeah they were, I loved those lockers too, shoved all the accessories and you could fit a figure in there! Is that Dusty yours? That is an awesome addition! One of the best figures never released next to Joe Colton.
Uberlad:
destro, i'm not asking you to reveal your sources, but ...well, it'd just be easier if you revealed your sources ;).

if there are produced "unproduced" figures out there, i'd love to know how to get a crack at 'em.

btw, i can see both sides of the locker issue. they were awesome, but after the first 20 or so figures, they became a bit too much. i'll never figure out those led lights, though.
boff123:
do you have the diver w/ shark?
arashikage tat:
Sigma 6 figures always reminded me of the figs in that movie Small Soldiers (i'm sure that's been said before) and have never appealed to me

Also, the only thing I liked about the soldier class was that it was cheaper than the commando class. There were some good soldier figures like Kamakura(who came with a TON of accessories holy crap that figure was cool), Gung Ho(WIN), Samurai Storm Shadow(YES!) and the IG, but the Commandos were typically better.

Wow. I'm jealous. I really liked Sigma 6. That Dusty would have been great. I really hope Hasbro does something with those molds one day... or even the Collector's Club. I think Recondo was the weirdest one (Though Flint would have given him a run for his money). I loved both the Recondo and Flint figures, they just didn't really look like Recondo or Flint.

    Is that Dusty for Sale?
Chris L:
I liked Sigma 6 too. I think the style was great and I liked the quality of the toy. The two things I think Hasbro could have done better with this line was stay more faithful to the ARAH design (using the S6 style) and make the boots smaller.
starscream-99:
I thought they stop making Sigma 6 figures.
