Design Sheets & Photos Of Unreleased Sigma 6 Toys! Picture-20
Triclops Studio has images of the unreleased Sigma 6 Adventure Team Wave 2 & 2.5" Mission Sets! These images give us a glimpse at what we could have seen on toy shelves had the line not ended. A sad reminder that for the Adventure Team subline for Sigma 6, the best was truly yet to come. Shown on the design sheets are the accessories, and weapons that would have come with Dusty, Joe Colton, & Wet-Suit. Featuring new parts and clever reuse of existing accessories & weapons, this wave is seen by many as superior to the first Adventure Team wave. With the molds already tooled up and shown at Joecon, many fans still have hope that these eventually see release.

Shin Densetsu:
Triclops Studio has images of the unreleased Adventure Team wave 2 & Mission Sets from the Sigma 6 line. Click here and click on the G.I. Joe/Sigma 6 links to check out the design sheets & resin prototypes! Hasbro truly saved the best for last, as the second Adventure Team wave looked quite awesome!
gunslingercbr:
Croc Master! Sniper Flint! man, those would have been awesome!
Drill:
Wow...of all the figures to be Sigma 6'd, I would never have guessed Croc Master.
NeoMikomi:
That Croc Master is only 2.5 inch which I would have passed on. Now, if they made an 8 inch Croc Master for the Sigma Six line then I would have definitely bought that. Just like I will probably buy RAH flavored 6" Marvel Legends style Joe figures whenever they decided to milk the line in that direction.
Shin Densetsu:
That Dusty figure is awesome I really wish it was released back then. The Sigma 6 line was good while it lasted, and it ended on a good note. Wave 2 of Adventure Team would have been one of the best waves of the line, not just for the Adventure Team segment.
Irid70:
Sigma Six never did anything for me, but this must be kind of a kick in the teeth for the guys who did like it, seeing the stuff they'll never get. Bittersweet, I'd guess.
MikeyT:
Was not into Joe's when these came out. Not much going on in the line of interest for me now either.
1337W422102:
Alas, what could have been. I'm still bitter that they didn't include a Scarlett figure in the 2.5 pack that had Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow on the bike. I mean, Scarlett was the whole point of that Mission!

Dusty looks great, the shark looks badass, Croc Master looks terrific. I dig the suction cup Snake-Eyes and Scarlett. I'd have got a few of these.
kingsurlycrab:
    a scarlett and a big-ass gorilla?!
(i think i'm more upset about the gorilla...)
Elite Force Cobra:
    w0w sigma 6 returns like a ghost
VIPER 48:
I never got into S6 but a Croc Master would have been cool...
kingphilbert:
I love the costume look of what I assume is Joe Colton (w/ the Gorilla). Could make for a good 25TH custom.

    same here!
QBERT:
awesome line, I don't understand all the hate for it. I have a huge S6 collection boxed and opened and would buy every single one of those figures. I wish they released the Zanzibar and Short Fuze they showed us briefly.
Pimp Daddy Darklon:
I would have wanted the Gorilla & the Shark. Sigma never grew into me but I got the Marvel Legends version of the tiger included in the Stormshadow AT and though a bit blocky for ML style, it's good & articulated.

2 pages long only? No love for Sigma eh.
mjv306:
Everytime the line deviates from the 3inchish size, it sells poorly. Yes I know the original gi joe was a doll of 12 inches. But that quickly gave way to the small joes when they came out.

And the 12inch dolls based on ARAH never sell that well either.
Chris L:
    OK,

I feel like an idiot. I click on the Joe/Sigma six links and only get static pics of the Adventure team Sigma six with Joseph Colton and one with Snake Eyes. Where are the rest of the pics you guys are referring to?

    Thanks!
Chris L:
    Nevermind...

I found them on the front page of this site. They aren't all located on the Triclops site.

    Thanks!
boff123:
i liked those adventure sets. i am sure if they switched those out with the sanke eyes & s. shadow ones you might have seen them alittle bit longer on the shelves. i picked up the croc set at retail and love it. i bought the s.e. pack when on amazon for 6 bucks. the snake and temple piece are well done. they even made a decent snake eyes with enough variation that you don't feel its the same thing.
Mtolen78:
The Adventure Team stuff looks fantastic. Where are those old pics from the unreleased stuff we saw at a Joe con last year or so? It'd be nice to have a little more salt on these wounds.
King_Snake:
i thought sigma six had some nice character designs, but never actually bought any. i would definitely have made an exception for the colton / gorilla pack. compare this unproduced wave to the original line of ARAH's wave (with both flint and road pig being ninjas!), and see who should be more disappointed.
General Hawk:
As the world's biggest Sigma 6 fan, yeah, this opens up the wounds a bit. Thankfully most of the stuff is the 2.5" scale, which doesn't hurt quite as badly, but damn if that Adventure Team stuff didn't look bad ass. As it always seems to be, the line kind of petered out just as some really cool stuff was coming. :(

kneroh:
Ooooh, those look good! Love that Croc Master.
vermillion21:
A shame. I collected the 8 inch line and they were cool ...

Twenty years years is not a quick time.

I don't think the ones currently on shelf are selling like hotcakes, but they are selling, I see waves replenished with different characters quite often. I think the Sideshow versions will sell better.

That version of Snake Eyes actually had a warm reception by the fandom. It is rather neat, I may pick one up if I see one again later on.

That Dusty could have been the best Sigma 6 figure of that year, this coming from a guy that liked the Dark Ninja Master and Paratrooper Duke/SE figures a great deal. Typically my favorite Sigma 6 figures had good range of motion and a ton of accessories. Dusty fits that bill.
Jay West:
I love S6 always good to see a little something pop up, but this stuff was on one of the other sites months and months ago.
Razerwire:
    *Sigh*

    I miss S6 so much. :(
findraybrown:
these are absolutly awsome.they have to exist somewere out in the world if these images do.I waant them in my collection.I grew up with ARAH and loved them but when the sigma six line hit the shelves I had an all new love for G.I.Joe. I was upset to find out they were discontinued.I hope Hasbro will reconsider and start production on them again and soon
findraybrown:
if anyone knows how to get a hold of one of the unreleased figures please let me know how
green firefly:
I certainly would have purchased all three of the new Adventure Team sets. Although I love the original 1985 Dusty, I actually prefer Colton and Wet-Suit here. Like others have said, the 8 inch Joes are the highest quality GI Joe items ever produced.
King Kahn:
man i LOVED the adventure line!! i only bought a few of the toys but i LOVED the Adventure Team. i would have killed for that gorilla! and a large croc master with croc!!
Shin Densetsu:
    Adventure Team ruled man!
Counterpoint:
    Am I missing something????

I can only find Action Man and A.T.O.M stuff ... can someone provide a direct link to where the images are?
ooten:
same here I cant even find the images, someone please post a link directly im a hug s6 fan i would really like to see these
xFlintx:
    Perhaps they were taken down?
Barefoot Jedi:
    Couldn't find them either.

I am one of about one who actually liked the Sigma 6 cartoon. I mean, it was light years better than SpyPoops or Velour Versus Denim.

If Hasbro hadn't decided to change the scale and stayed with 3 3/4" action figures I wonder if it would have done better.
butter_the_pure:
    Why are they gone? :(
ooten:
I really liked s6 and was excited when I started seeing them on the shelf its actually what got me back into joes. I got a bunch of s6 figures and now a bunch of 25th figs. I didnt like there takes on certain characters but for the most part it was new and refreshing.
