GI Joe Resolute Zartan Preview Gallery GI-Joe-Resolute-Zartan-Loose-01
HISS Tank boards member Dirtbag just got his Resolute Zartan figure in the mail, and he has shared images with us of the sinister Cobra assassin. This figure is shorter than previous, Modern Era/25th Anniversary versions of Zartan. To get an idea of how short this figure is compared to others, images showing City Strike Snake Eyes and Resolute Destro can be seen as well.

Hey guys I just received my sample from Handy Toys from China.

    Figure got here pretty fast.

The figure itself looks great, however the legs and the torso used make this the shortest Zartan in the modern era. I'm already planning on getting an extra Desert Zartan from POC just to used the legs and make this figure a bit taller. Also I would have prefer if instead of using the Snake-Eyes 1st version torso they would have use the one from the last GIjoe 25th Anniversary pack.

Still the figure looks awesome and luckily the joints are tight.
Also on some pictures is another sample I got, Resolute Destro. For size comparison you can tell how tall Destro is and how small Zartan is.

I thought the same thing but I was surprised. Same thing with Destro. Also right now on Ebay they have Zartan available with his gear. Also Destro as well and most of the Cobra figures. However the seller have 0 feedback.
GI abe444:
Nice pics of Reolute Zartan thanks ! cant wait to get him.
Monkeywrench:
Looks badass! thanks for the pics
Daver:
I really dig the sculpting on him, clean yet awesome !
Good job by Hasbro on this guy ;- )
I just wonder what backpack and weapons he comes with...
Dirtbag:
If I'm not mistaken he comes with the sniper rifles he uses on Snake Eyes and the rocket gun he shoots at Scarlett and Duke. I got mine weaponless.
Mr.Kane:
Still no crazy for this version of Zartan.
thecalm_7:
i like it, although i am disappointed by the height. I guess kamakura and ninja viper wont be the only short joes now
Trooper13:
Nice figure, and great pics. Poor Frostbite. lol
the odinson:
besides v1, this is probably my favorite zartan, and the best of the resolute redesigns to me. of course, he must not really be resolute because he doesn't have kneepads.
SteelCity86:
Luv the fig. But Destro steals the show in those pics, how awesome does he look? Thanks 4 the pics. U pulled of some sweet poses as well. Im just curious, how long did it take u 2 pull some of them off? They look perfect, hands are tight on the gun, Snake Eyes' ninja 'pose' is just off the hook. Im always interested/impressed with some of the poses u guys pull off. I have a few cool 1's set up, but I either start running out of ideas or cant get them 2 do what I want if I get 2 fancy (lol). Gun falling out of hand, wont stand up...ugh!!! lol

Just curious, again, awesome job brother. And Im gonna steal that SE pose
Snow Job:
I was wondering that too, SteelCity. Poses are awesome!
Dirtbag:
Holy Crap I got front page?! (giggles like an idiot)

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Trooper 13 that Frostbite figure had it coming for being so generically plain.

SteelCity and Snow Job I generally just play around with the poses I just used my imagination I think it helps that I took art classes and draw (I usually don't post my artwork unless is Joe related) But anyways back to what you guys asked you can used reference pictures. Just try to emulate poses from various sources. Movies, Animation, comic books and what not.

That Snake Eyes figure is one of the most poseable Joe figures ever made you can usually strike any pose especially samurai/ninja Poses.
You guys can use reference from any image available. For that pose I got to say I was thinking about Samurai X.

Zartan on the other hand was a bitch to get him pose without falling. Those legs just got to go. I'm gonna change them for the POC Zartan legs since those actually have Kneepads like in Resolute Movie and also make him taller.
