Shimaneboy: Hi, all!
I found the new Cobra Trooper Resolute figure today at a Walmart in Arizona and was able to buy two, so I opened one and took some pics. Sorry if these exist somewhere else already, and sorry the pic quality isn't the best.
Now, onto my thoughts....
This figure appears to be an ALL NEW sculpt from head to toe! Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I think he is totally new. He's very cool and his elbows bend 90 degrees!!! He's got great overall proportions and, as you can see, his vest (which fits nice and snug) is removable.

(like in his undershirt) I can't wait for resolute & all of it's glory to be in my hands from BBTS next week! slg: Hey, how well does he hold the smaller gun with both hands? Someone can open and show...thank you...thank you!!!! SNAKE EYES: He looks great just wish he had the silver Cobra logo on his helmet like in the card art. I see he had a silver Cobra logo on his sweater though, to bad you can only see it if the vest is off.
Great find by the way and thanks for the pics. Was he the only wave 13 figure left? Shimaneboy: No, I was able to score all of wave 13. I just don't want to open the others as I was only able to get one of each of them. spacemonkeymafia: So who do you think they are going to use the Torso for next? umanumanamo: Seems pretty cool. Just not enough of the traditional Cobra troop / officer look to him for me.
That, or maybe it's just the big Cobra symbol I am missing one way or another. :(
I have my hopes for Duke still out of the Resolute line, but that's about it - Resolute wise.
. Shimaneboy: Yeah, the paint apps on the face and eyes are a little rough. And, when I took the helmet off for the first time, it left some of the blue paint behind on the face :( joss789: A few of them would be great to build a SWAT team!

The Resolute Trooper looks Awesome!!! Apeiron: Looks awesome. I hope I can get 3 or 4 of them.
The trooper kind of reminds me of one of the standard Shinra Troopers from Final Fantasy 7. Monkeywrench: looks much better loose than MOC. thanks RayH: I really like it, i think they came up with a very interesting design, it's almost like a combination of a viper and a cobra trooper. I really hope he does have the cobra emblem on his helmut tho'
It's cool for having a resolute trooper, but if you just want this as some random cobra for an overall display, i think he looks like some kind of urban specialty cobra trooper.
I'm glad you took a picture of it minus the vest i was curious what he looked like under there. I'd love to see more pictures with other figures, like the other cobra troopers and what not would be great.

RayH, he looks really cool next to the trooper and the Viper! I think he looks better proportioned and even tougher!
slg, he holds the small gun with both hands fairly well, but he cannot hold it in both hands well when holding it in his right hand and with the vest on. In his left hand with his vest on, it's pretty great (see the pics), and with his vest off he holds the smaller gun fairly well in either hand with a two-handed grip. firefly069: great pics. I think the resolute figures are pretty decent. I myself am not interested as I only want the traditional designs of the characters I like but, I think besides the 25th these are some of the best that hasbro has done. I think if they can make a resolute cartoon series they might have there next full line....
Question for you guys that don't like these. do you not like these because they aren't the 25th and you want only the traditional figures or do you not like these because you think they suck? krypton1026: where in az did you find these?
