I really wonder how the toys are going to look. Will they be stylized or similar to 25th. FLINT IS BAD-ASS!!! Lady Jaye and Scarlett are great.
Like the update to Mindbender. Baroness is cool. Cobra Commander has an IDW feel, which is cool.
Don't like the MARS combat suits. Black Dragon is awesome. HISS DRONE!!

And just for Gyre: BIO-VIPERS!! | I agree its radically different I like it alot to me it has more of a movie feel than the toon but I like where its starting from. Nemesis*Prime: Not a big fan of the animation style. The "Resolute" character designs were a lot better looking.
However, I do like all the new COBRA tech concepts that were shown off. Hopefully some of those designs will be translated into 3 3/4" scale vehicles for next year. B and H Comics: No, this is sweet !!!!!

Anyways, theres a lot to like in Renegades. Especially if we consider characters will evolve in time. Mindbender could lose his har, SS needs to somehow end up looking meaner. I trust stuff like that will happen. I'd like a closer look at CC though... he doesn't seem to look like ROC CC.
And there's some great stuff vehicle wise. Cobra finally gets a mobile command center, and I loved the jet and the Black Dragon. Tracker: I'm not sure I have to wait till i see the animation in action.
i will say one thing if the Renegade Figures are made to look like exactly the art work then i won't be buying the figs. KALASH69: I like how Ripcord is suddenly a "core character"...

Anyway, overall I really dig the new look and feel of the Joes for this. Im excited to see how it pans out.

Anytime they show a "Snake Eyes Motor cycle" you know we are dooomed. SteelCity86: Looking at those pictures of the characters, Ripcord reminds me of Doug. Remember the Doug cartoon from Nickelodeon back in the day? A lot of the characters have that feel 2 me unfortunately. Although the few pics I saw of them together 'in action' (with a background and what not) looked much better. So I Im going to try and hold off judgment until we can see the video clip. AWESOME vehicles though! Just crazy. Def. feelin them. Im still undecided, but at least I feel a LITTLE better than I did after seeing just the pic of SE.
I cant imagine buying any figs that look like that though. SE and SS still look like children. The best thing is, you can tell by the designs that some thought actually went into it.
It's not like Sigma 6 where they just tossed everyone in a Sigma Suit and forgot about it. There was some real thinking and design work being done here, and I love it.
Mindbender was an interesting choice to put in that particular "look"...and the Bio-Viper is certainly curious, but an early indication that Cobra is definitely not averse to genetic engineering, which could prove interesting as the series goes on.
And of course there will be toys. They told us at JoeCon that toys were coming in the fall of 2011, I strongly doubt that's changed.
I eagerly await an enterprising fan's uploading of concealed video...I gotta see this in action.
