HISS Tank boards member Ash Talon has posted images of his GI Pursuit Of Cobra Wave 2 Bravo Vehicles(more of the VAMP than Cobra Fury). These vehicles should see release at brick & mortar locations soon. Meanwhile, if you want to skip the thrill of the hunt and get yours now, site sponsor SmallJoes has them in stock! The vehicles in this wave are:
- VAMP With Double Clutch from the Jungle Assault theme
- Cobra Fury With Alley Viper Officer from the City Strike theme

I ordered the POC VAMP and RAGE from Big Bad Toy Store. I've been dying for the VAMP since I first saw it. And I've never owned the RAGE before, although an old roommate of mine had the 90s TRU one.
I love the size of the VAMP. I really like troop-carrying ability on my Joe/Cobra vehicles. I grew up with the original VAMP, but it's lack of ability to transport any Joes other than one passenger mades its use very limited. The new V can hold quite a few figures (as you'll soon see).
It's got quite a few details/features. I'll start at the front end. The winch has a hinged claw with a single claw opposite duel claws. You manually pull it out. It has a string about 1.5' long (haven't measured it). You turn a thumbwheel to retract the string/claw.
The hood features several small holes on it for attachable accessories such as an attennae or a machine gun .
The middle section has pegs at each "door" which can hold figure backpacks as stowage. The running boards can hold 2 figures on each side. The interior has a removable steering wheel and a sculpted gearshift. Each of the four seats is painted in 2-tone color. Between the front seats and between the rear seasts are open storage compartments for accessories/guns.
The bottom of the vehicle has front and rear struts which are cast in red plastic. They allow for "suspension" which actually works rather well. I'm not sure why the struts are red. You can see the red on the pegs where the wheels attach.
The top of the middle has a pair of larger peg-holes to allow for attachment of the gatling gun or rocket launcher ("laser" gun according to package).
The rear area has two removable smoke launchers on each side. A sculpted gas recepticle is present. Two removable gas tanks. A spare tire. A tow hook. A pair of small pegs which are kinda obstructed by the rollbar. A pair of hooks to wind string/rope around. The cab has racks for both a removable shovel and sledgehammer. There's a rotating circular platform at the bottow which a gun stand can attach (via a large peg and some guidance legs). An ammor drum can attach via a small peg to the stand, but it doesn't fit too securely due to an odd design. An ammo belt can attach from the drum to the gatling gun, if you choose to use it on the stand. You attach a hinged piece to the top of the stand, and then you attach either gun to the hinged piece. The round gun has two foot pegs for a gunner to stand on. The whole platform spins, but it doesn't have a thumbwheel to spin it.
There are three guns included. A solid machine gun for the front of the vehicle. It has pegs on its sides, so you can store it elsewhere if you want. Second, there's also a gatling gun with a yellow knob coming off the back which manually spins the barrel. Third is the "laser" gun which fires a spring-powered yellow missle. The machine gun and the gun handles/grips are all cast in a soft plastic which is a little odd. The antennae, steering wheel, and gas tanks are also cast in this soft plastic.
Overall, it's an awesome vehicle. There are tons of details. It's got a huge size (reminds me of the Hammer) and can transport quite a few troops. The only downside is the wheels are solid plastic and have no rubber. For those worried about the color, there are tons of stickers to put on, including number/letters to customize your own markings.
Anyway, here are some pics.

And just a tease of the RAGE. I'll get back to it later.

I'm a little upset with the placement/ storage of the grappling claw on the front of the vehicle.
I'm also not happy with the machine gun assembly on the back.
It's cool that the amo canister can double as a backpack, but I don't like how it connects to the swivel stand, and I also don't like how the machine gun sits on the stand as well.

The RAGE has a slight maroon color to it. I'm not sure if it matches the ROC Ferret, since I don't have that vehicle (might have to track one down).
The front has a battering ram attached. There's a thumbwheel which spins the gattling gun. Dual front doors open to house 2 troopers/drivers. Running boards can hold two figures on each side. The left side has a flip out gatling gun/rocket pod. The right side has a storage compartment. There's a running board on the back left side. The main turret elevates and rotates. Two missiles attach to the sides of the turret, and it holds a gunner. You can attach either the rocket-firing launcher (with a molded on machine gun) or a pair of missles (in the storage compartment in my pics) next to the turret. This gun has controls that a figure standing on the rear running board can operate. The rear has a pull out mine dispenser.
If you pull up on the turret, it can lock into an elevated place (takes a bit of effort to lock in). Once elevated, a twin gatling gun can swing out under the turret. The gatling gun(s) can rotate about 270 degrees. The mine dispenser can now be pulled out which drops the disc-mines out (there are 4 or 5...going off memory).
Overall, the RAGE is a pretty cool vehicle. Once again, the troop carrying ability is nice. It's got a pretty low-profile compared to other vehicles of this size. It's overloaded with weapons and still has a place for storage and passengers. Pretty neat and futuristic-looking vehicle.

Yeah, the gun stand on the back of the VAMP feels wobbly. I should have mentioned that downside. It just doesn't feel solid. With a figure operating it, it feels a lot more solid. I haven't attached the gatling gun to it, so I'm not sure how that feels.
If you don't like the gun stand, you can just remove it and fit several more Joes in the back. I think this makes the jeep more versatile. It is a little disappointing when you attach that gun stand and it just doesn't feel solid.
