gijoe-movie-snake-eyes-bike-
HISS Tank.com has just received Images of what appear to be the GI Joe Motorcycle that Snake Eyes will use in the upcoming G.I. Joe Movie Rise Of Cobra.

No Official word has been handed down as to what the bike will be called or its affiliation with the film.

Update: IESB.net has posted the source of the pictures that were sent to HISS Tank.com. It would seem the bike was made for a party at SDCC 2008.

Yeah, cool bike, but the clan symbol is too much, actually all the emblems are too much, I thought G.I. Joe is covert and they shouldn't be throwing out the name like that.
Cobra88:
What, they cant make a RAM!
Pit Viper:
I actually like that it has logos on it. It's just like the toys.
ZARTAN:
It looks nice cant wait!
spacemonkeymafia:
Lol....that is the Ram......
TheLongestDay:
ah man! that is too cool! I WANT ONE! I WANT OOOONE!

Im sure thats what they want the kids to say.....I have the 2 VvV Bikes (SE and SS).....this will be a pass....because Im sure it wil be one of those repainted.......
Irid70:
I want one.
Cdt Weasel:
Haha snake eyes drives a Buell. Not to impressed with the design myself.
QBERT:
I would bet anything that is a custom for some rich guy.

The decals, swords, Arashikage clan symbol, and the "G.I. JOE" logo would make it look so cheesy in a movie. There is no way the pictured bike will hit the big screen. Will he be on a bike, that is a different story, but not that exact one.

Im sure thats in the movie.....
goosetuber:
This Bike is obviously being displayed, judging from the barriers that surround it, the lighting behind it.

Doubt that this is a custom for an individual, due to the official logos, and the detail stitching on the rear seat looks painted on. It is a show piece, could be for motor show Note the blatantly (hideous) obvious Buell logo, to generate buzz. Also as many of you can remember, they gave away a batmobile with one of the batman movies, I can totally see this as some type of "Prize" in some kind of promotional sweepstakes or fastfood tie in.
artiepants:
looks pretty good ~ the "blood" coming off the BUELL logo and the Arishikage emblem are a bit much, but i kinda dig the swords and like the position of the Joe logo (i hate that typography/version of the logo though)

kinda curious what's up with the 2 inverted Joe emblems on the front intake covers facing each other, it's very awkward looking...

YOJOE.COM | Ninja Lightning Cycle

This is the toy you all will get.....
TheFallen:
I like that bike. This movie is going to be such a great popcorn flick. And no I am not being sarcastic.

One way or another I am going to enjoy something about this movie, either the story or the vehicles that have been rumoured. Judging by this bike the vehicles are going to be fantastic
gijoevscobra4ever:
It's alright... Doesn't get me excited. Now if that bike didn't have the logos on it and was parked in my garage, I'd be excited. I hope it's a giveaway prize. But, from the look of things, it will probably be in the movie.
TheFallen:
Damn ISP. Double post

Considering that nearly every Storm Shadow in the anniversary line, the Red Ninjas in the TRU battle pack, the VVV wave 3 Snake Eyes with Ninja Lightning, the VVV Ninja Battles Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, Sigma 6 Storm Shadows, Samurai Snake Eyes from S6, S6 training Snake Eyes and possibly more had the Arashikage clan symbol tatooed on......

Anyways I like how there is 2 swords, the more swords for me to arm my ninjas with, the better.
Saboteur:
I thought RocknRoll drove the bike.

I didn't think of it in that light, you might be exactly right.

Ahhh but those are the Toys......This is the movie....you dont need to school me on GI Joe brother.....I OWN all of those...thanks!

I guess this is why BatMan didnt plaster his symbol on all his stuff in the movie?

Dude this is a live action movie.....in which they threw out a lot of ideas from Comics and TV show....why because they wouldnt work in a live action movie.......but yet making a bike look like a toy is more believable than a white ripcord?

Bike is sweet......Symbols all on it...not so much.....I think if Snakes was real then that bike wouldnt have fancy stickers all on it...it would just be solid black..........save that crap for the toys not a movie that is suppose to be believable somewhat.........I guess 10 years in the future Super Ninjas drive bikes that can give anybody with the internet at hand a way to find out who and what they are.......
BadWolf:
SUCK....SUCK......SUCK......SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
and the crap keeps on flying!!!!

The movie images of Snake Eyes show the Arashikage symbol on his arm.
General Hawk:
I have no idea why everyone is complaining about all of the logo's and everything, considering every single G.I. Joe toy on the market has the logo plastered everywhere. I don't see an issue with it.

I have no idea if this is an actual bike from the film, but it looks pretty neat, just the same.

LOl....yes I know....which again goes with my save it for the toys not the movie thing......I dont think a True Ninja would allow anyone to see something like that.......maybe one reason Snakes and SS hid it under Shirts and wristbands.........in the comics....

Hasbro started to add that symbol with Joe Vs Cobra and they just went wild with it.....

For me its because a Top secret org. wouldnt have their name plastered on anything......the toys are different.....but not in a movie.....

Bingo.

Knighthart:
The Arashikage symbol is for the fan boys.

I don't see a "realistic" military version of Snake-Eyes having his clan symbol on his uniform. A unit patch or national affliation patch, yes. Even then in a suppressed or velcro cover version like in today's covert ops.

The over use of emblems, markings and symbols is where the movie fails. They try to make it "realistic" yet "camp" it with the over use of markings. I would have preferred the characters to wear their traditional outfits not black vinyl. I want Cobra troopers and Vipers in blue jumpsuits and Cobra symbols on their chests not black vinyl. (how do you tell the enemy apart from the good guys?) Then again, I wasn't brought in to consult.....

Good question.
Somebody somewhere probably has an answer for it though.

Tall Creeper:
I like the look of this bike it is very cool with the two mounted guns up front for easy access and the rear mounted swords

I even like the logos and think it gives it a nice touch. I don't think Snake Eyes will be running to the local pizza place to park it out in front of eveyone. If it were just painted black it would look a little boring to me

Even the stealth fighter and bomber have emblems marking them as being from the U.S.
spacemonkeymafia:
Dude Street Hawk was Black and Grey and that thing rocked.....
Mainframe:
Looks cheap.....the swords on the back tire look like something bought out of a circus. And the red logo doesn't speak "Snake Eyes" to me, it states "I'm going to ruin a cool mysterious thing".
Saboteur:
If this is in the movie and on Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and anything else that they are involved with, I can see movie merchandise: Bumper Stickers...
Sab
A.V.A.C.:
yeah, i see a vvsv version coming. i avoided those like the plague when they were released. not a big ninja on a bike fan.
CobraVirus:
Wow. This made the front page??? This is news??? Its a photograph with NO STORY!!! I can't wait for the interview with Bat Boy...
machiwoomiapoo:
That bike RULES!!!!!
General Hawk59:
This is in the movie.. This was not a demo bike for Buell.. I think its kinda sad to see that there are so many negative comments about this bike.. I think it looks awesome and I cant wait for the toy to be released..
Agent-GHQ:
I don't know about Ninjas on bikes!? But Ninja bikes are badass back in the day!
goosetuber:
I would buy that bike being in the movie, but I would bet that this is a "dressed up" version. Maybe the military insignias and swords are movie, but even in the age of product placement that buell sticker on the front looks slapped on and I'm not so sure the arashikage clan symbol isn't "aftermarket" as well.
Knighthart:

Funny! Perhaps Kawasaki should have paid for a tie in!

The ad campaign begins like this:

"Even real Ninjas ride a Ninja! Only available from your local Kawasaki Dealer!"
goosetuber:
well it's a buell 1125r I think.
The two painted pieces ( the plastic tank cover with the buell logo and the rear piece with the clan symbol) do look "aftermarket" and likely would be obscured by a rider in the movie, whereas the gijoe and the eagle logos looks bit more permanent.
The rearview mirrors have removed to improve aesthetics
JACKOFTRADZE:
I love the official G.I.Joe logo on the side of the bike, it's always a good idea to be sure your enemies know who you work for.
SnakeEyes2184:
That is one awesome bike, cant wait for the movie.
SnakeEyes2184:
Seriously I cannot believe all the negative comments. The Bike Rocks.
Gung.Heaux:
heres something to take note of...
it says...

G.I.Joe not G.I.J.O.E.
HissCommander:
so does this thing fly like the S6 bike
HissCommander:

it says "g.i. joe" on every single thing made. G.I. = government issue Joe= Joe schmo. lol what else would it stand for?
Troynos:
So what says that is the bike being used in the movie, if there will even be a bike at all.

Things that make me wonder: the clan symbol and it's location, the "bloody" buell logo and the movie emblem and it's reverse twin.

All that just makes me think it's a fans bike. I really can't see it being used in the movie as is. The "bloody" buell just makes me think fan...

It's cool no matter what.
