The sequel will also include Channing Tatum (Duke), D.J. I just saw this earlier. I am wondering who are the guys is behind Roadblock and Colton and is Jinx the other female in the pic?

Sorry I needed to post a new thread for this, I just thought this should grab everybody's attention. Moderator, feel free to move this somewhere else.

cmderinchief:
ZOMG, Stalker is in the movie!

Actually, its a good article.
CobraCrimson:
Ok, cool pic and all but why, oh why, everytime there is a scene in a movie with military personel standing around a big map, there is always a damn gun sitting on the map somewhere!?!?

By the way, if that's Lady Jaye standing there in the t-shirt, yumm!
Smokebomb:
That would never happen. A loaded gun in the middle of a table. And hey lookie there pointing at the General.
Ford:
So the Rock's tattoo's aren't covered up in the movie. I'm still hoping his figure has them, even though the latest pictures didn't show them.
Fox:

“In this movie putting a face on who Joe is — in Bruce Willis — and that idea of having the original Joe is great for the audience that doesn’t know the Joe of the 1980s but knows the Joe of the 1960s and 1970s,” di Bonaventura said. “There’s a combination of these things coming together in a really great way.”
What a stupid comment. The 60's & 70's is like 40 or 50 some years ago. Kids old enough to remember playing the the original Joe but were too old to play with the 80's Joe are how old now? 40ish to 60 ish? Are people that age your typical audience for Summer action film? Those type of pop corn films are always meant for younger audiences. I doubt there's mass of Old men nearing retirement who'll flock to see GI Joe.

The Rock is not amused and Bruce is thinking "I'd tap that".

Lol. The comment was a little off. How would they know Colton us supposed to represent the OG Joe. And to actually look the part, Roy would need a full head of hair. Thick, bushy, hair. And a beard would help too.
Sunbow_Joe84:
I was kinda of hoping he'd at least have the scar.
fireflyguy:
I so hope they make a Colton figure. I don't care what the articulation is like.

Anyone else finding the fact that this guy....

Is the star and leader of the GI Joe movie? I mean, come on. Roadblock was a rhyming cook who had a big machine gun. A 3rd string character at best. How did we pick this character to be the main in our movie? Lame. SHoulda went with making the Rock BeachHead or anyone else.

Naw man, that's Ripcord.
Nictus:
The rock as beachhead? How is he not also a third string character?

Besides I doubt Dwayne would want to cover up his mug for any amount of time

I like the idea of the focus coming off of one character and onto another...much how the comics did, every issue wasn't always focused on the same joe time after time. Plus the less Channing scrotum screen time the better
eddy-arashikage:
Is that another shot of jinx? Why do they keep showing us a charector who is hardly in the movie!!

Sorry couldn't resist what with all the sdcc jinx hate lately!

Holy cow, what IS that word!?!? Something to do with burning ghosts?
Caravankidd:
With the look on the Rock's face I think the picture should have the caption "What you talking about Willis?"
Kungfuguy:
Hey it's the club for male pattern baldness. I don't think they look so good together. Bruce looks like the Mr. Clean genie.
Steelgrave:
What exactly about that picture says "GI JOE"? If you show that pic to somebody off the street, what about it will make them know what it's from? There's not 1 recognizable character from GI Joe in that entire pic. It's a picture of Bruce & Dwayne looking at some hot chick in a gray shirt. Would it really have been so horrible to at least put the characters in their proper GI Joe uniforms? This picture could just as easily be from Die Hard 5.
tkprime:
Adventure team! Woot!
GI Guppy the third:
Damn, Rock. Put the safety on that gun.
AlleyViper47:
I would have cast Rock as Sgt. Slaughter. But Roadblock is cool too. I just think he has the personality more fit for a Sgt.
red4:
That's a nice set of tits. And Lady Jaye looks good too.
Master Henton:
I know how MOST of you feel about Marlon Waynes.....but I still say they should hire Damon Waynes so that Major Payne could do a cameo in Joe 3!!

Fuck yes. Major Payne would bark my toys awake every morning if I had an action figure of him.

Let's assume the chick on the extreme right is Jinx, it looks like somebody (possibly Colton) was able to summon a couple of other Joes or former Joes for the OP against Cobra.

everyweek im getting happier with what im seeing toy and film design wise, does anyone known if arnold vosloo is definantly in the new film and not just imdb rumours?
Faran from star trek and ironman 1 is the new cobra commander so was thinking anything can happen as far as recasting
Master Henton:
Someone mentioned earlier about Roadblock being a chef. The Rock has experience in playing a chef too. If you recall he played a chef/bounty hunter in The Rundown. Kalobos anyone?
