They were shooting Pick-ups in NOLA this week.
Rhett Reese may have been there too since he tweeted that he had a seven hour delay at the NOLA airport. (something to look forward to in June?) The Rock confirmed that he was in NOLA with some of his tweets. ‏

This film can't come soon enough for me, at the very start I was very skeptical on the back of ROC but they have taken the best parts and flushed all the crap down the toilet. I predict this movie will be huge this summer! Bring it on!! Snake eyes looks awesome without his muscle suit and lips! He looks like qa bad-ass and not a reject from Batman & robin!

i thought they were doing some work in NO. saw the same orange "LB" signs that they were using last year during filming.

based on where i saw the signs, looks like they were at the NASA facility again.

was on a tight schedule and couldnt go snooping. however, last time i went over to the NASA facility during filming...there was an NOPD at the gate. he didnt look too happy that i cruised past the gate twice, very slowly, peering into the main yard. Lord help me if idve raised my camera.

I don't like movie Snake Eyes at all. I don't think Ray Park has the physique to play the part, they should've gotten any of the gladiators from the Spartacus to play him.

Park is short but hey, I really liked ROC!

Those knee pads are from Crye precision, They are built into the pants. They make combat uniforms for US SOF personnel. So in a way its accurate. Crye makes them in all sorts of colors

Really? Ray Park is a shorter guy with a male gymnast's build. What other build would Snake Eyes have? The armor that he is wearing is bulky and throws his build off because...well...its armor. If you took any of the Spartacus guys and threw them in this same stuff you would've had the same results, just taller.

Why do you think Hasblo/Paramount makes S.E.'s visor some kind of grey colored transparent device?

Why not make it what it was in pretty much ever cartoon and comic book. The v2 1985 Snake Eyes with this metal visor with slits cut into it? This was very menacing and this plastic transparent thing just doesn't look good in my opinion.

This is a case of 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it'. The movie producers have tried to make S.E. look young hip and cool for the brain-dead teenage masses and make it digestible on the most common denominator thus a plastic faceplate is in call for.

I disagree. I think if S.E. was outfitted with the armored visor with slits, it would look much better.
