For the first time since I've heard about them I actually LIKE this accelerator suit crap!!!

It reminds me of the old Talking Duke.

Its kinda cool, I SEE what they are tryin to do here, but I just think for the price point, that these will not sell, Sitting next to items like Sigma Six Power strike duke.
Not a bad toy, but its in the 12" class, so kids that "get into" the new 3 3/4 movie stuff, may not like it, and if there arent cobras that size to go against, it just may not be that much of an appeal.
Hell..for 70$ I sure as hell wouldent want it. honestly if it were 20$ I wouldent buy it.
I just dont know how kids would take something like this these days..and I dont know how the average parent would spend 70$ on what they see as "just a 12" doll" even if the package says it does all this stuff.

One the stupidest things I've seen...it's not G.I.Joe...it's Action Man.....I couldn't watch anymore.

Me too, man. What's so surprising is other "electronic talking" figures in the 90's (Talking Duke, Small Soldiers, etc), all ended up in clearance bins. I really hope this sells well and isn't just based on "Ultimate Bumblebee" sales.

And, for the record, I think my Sigma Strike Duke can kick its Hollywood candy @$$. The last thing I want is to spend that much money to hear a generic impersonation of a generic actor spout "over 120 phrases right from the movie" at me.

I think this is just too much $$$ for what it is. With the Ultimate Bumblebee at least it transforms, does a bunch of stuff on its own (which I know this one does too but hand operated gun based leg movement screams '90's), plays Whip it by Devo and is an extremely detailed toy. I feel like I am getting something for it.
Duke should be like $19.99. And then I would still pass based on the craptacular look of the movie.

Speaking of the NEW face of G.I. Joe, it seemed weird to hear the old mantra, "...and KNOWING is half the battle!", in an advertisement for the NEW ROC toy line. We need a new mantra for this new era.

Wow.. That thing is crap. Almost really does look like Robo-Cop, or a life like version of Buzz Light Year. lol... Good luck selling those. I'd rather go plop $5 down on a hall of fame duke off ebay. And thats saying alot because the hof bodies sucked really bad. But atleast they resembled GI Joe.

This has to be one of the lamest toys I have ever seen. The commercial gave me a good laugh. Roboduke...lights,sounds,stupid facial expressions. The only thing it's missing is large neon colored missles that shoot out of his feet. Come on Hasbro, your dropping the ball on this one. /snickering

Honestly, if I was still a kid and I saw this thing in the Joe aisle, I would probably be confused at first, then realize that its just an expensive gimmicky toy and then I would forget it ever existed and move on to the real joe product.

They didn't use a rolling landing gear on the POS ROC Nightraven because of cost, but then turn around and come out with this $69.99 POS in an economic reccession! Brilliant like every other decision with this movie!

while cool looking, the whole running legs and arms with the back hand hold is junk in my opinion. just make it make it poseable with the all the same lights and junk and a million times better. they tried too much, put way to much gimick into one piece. not even my kids like action figures with handles for gods sake.

i'm glad some like it. i won't bite so you have 3 less to worry about in toy hunting.
