Like the late wave version of this mold better.

Really hoping the retail release has all black holsters, instead of two white ones.

Can someone please explain why they painted that one knife sheath white? Looks so stupid! It's not painted that way on the pictured one on the packing nor on the early ones shown at conventions. That combined with the stupid mega holsters on his thighs ruin this figure... Yes I know I can paint and break off pieces but I shouldn't have to.

It would have made more sense to use that white paint to place the "R" of the chest plate.

I'll be thrilled once we're beyond buzzwords like "Battle Kata" and making Rockblock a ninja.

Are his arms painted to match his flesh tone or cast that way?

Because I want to remove that stupid tattoo.

Got mine today. The baton holster on the back is white too. The blades don't really fit well in the grips, keep falling out. But to me its a big improvement over wave1.

I thought i read somewhere ultimate Roadblock & Flint were pulled from the display after pictures were taken and hadn't been shown anywhere since. I really want both those versions hope they release.

The figure is very nice, it has a good range of movement, but the huge holsters need to go, the vest needs to be repainted and the humongous Arashikage tattoo is distracting.
With a bit of work, this figure turns into a nice movie Roadblock.

It would be criminal for that movie accurate Rockblock not to come out.


At the very least his .50 should see the light of day. The 25th RB one included here is ridiculous.

I like this figure and the costume design overall. I agree with everyone else who has objected to the white holsters and the overly large leg holsters as well. Another thing about the Retaliation costumes in general that I don't like, is the ankle length pants. I much rather like the pants tucked into the boot tops. The head sculpt looks better on this figure than the wave one single carded or the 3 pack version- or maybe, it just the pics, I'm not sure not having the figure in hand myself.

Even though I like the w1 Rockblock, this is a big improvement.Heck it looks better than the prototype pictured on the card. Still I'll have to make changes, I hate the legs. And, I thought 25th Wildbill had huge holsters. Any way as mentioned Hasbro'll be f***ing retarded to not release the "Ultimate" Flint & Rockblock that were pulled from the display.

I am very glad I held out for series 2.

I cut the Battle Kata holsters off his legs and glued the holster and thigh mag pouches from a POC figure on.
Looks good and fits nicely.

This is the first movie-based figure I have any real interest in, and MIGHT get. But of course, he can't really be Roadblock, because well, Resolute RB is RB, right? New character I guess.

The webgear/vest comes off I presume?

You can also throw the 3-pack RB black tac vest on him.

I'm not gonna lie...This figure looks very nice! Usually I have bad things to say, but I honestly don't think I do with this one. I like all the weird gear and if adding the term "battle kata" makes their ankles move then give me more battle kata figs please!

But Battle Kata is so ninja-riffic! I see that they gave him rocker ankles but not multi-wrists.

That .50 he is carrying is a much better sculpt than the old 25th anniv one he comes with. He also lost the pack and the M-249 (I think).

This is the "Ultimate" one right? This one hits and it's my Rock. As far as I am concerned he's the Rock joining Joe like Sarge did. He is not Roadblock in my universe, nor is he the Leader nor is he a Ninja.

The current roadblock isn't for me. As others have stated the white holster seems odd, the holsters are too big and I don't like him having the tattoo. beyond that I don't really like the of mutiple knives etc. on his chest, I realize that's movie accurate but it looks better in the images of the movie i have seen than on the toy.

As a matter of personal taste i don't like those type knee pads, they look far too big and unnatural, I also prefer sleeved boots.

On the pros this one does have a good arm and sleeved sculpt, i can see those being good for a Gung-Ho custom.

The upcoming ultimate one, has some of my nitpicks, but i can see me picking it up to tweak it.

Its not a bad figure, but it seems that most recent Joe waves get better as they go on and become harder to find. So of course the Roadblock I want will be the hardest to find.

Please please let's see lots of these Ultimate editions!

How is Roadblock is the GI Joe leader? thought that was Gen Hawk.

I like the figure overall, cant wait to get him in hand. The huge holsters will have to go and paint the white sheath. But the head sculpt looks much better than the WV1 and 3 pack versions.

Yeah, those holsters are a big turn-off. Otherwise, not a bad figure.

Hawk is a no show in the upcoming movie, but considering their "renegade" status it's more like a field leader, he takes Duke's place.
