ROC figures hit Australia's capital yesterday afternoon.

Myer had Wave 1 figures and vehicles

Wave 1 (Duke, Destro, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Baroness and Neo Viper) A$17.95

Wave 1 vehicles - Ice Sabre (w Frostbite), Mole Pod (w Neo Viper), Armadillo mini tank (w Sgt Thunderblast) and umm it looked like the Ferret (w Scrap Iron) for A$42


I got some figures but the vehicles were pretty steep for stuff I have plenty of in vintage but I know I'll cave and buy em

Must admit I really like the desert camo Duke. Thinking very seriously of buying a bunch and swapping heads. Strom Shadow is pretty neat too. I'm kinda afraid to play with the Baroness too much in case I break her. She seems very fragile....the figure, not the character

17.95 for single figure? thats a lot.... and 42 for the vehicles...

Yeah that's in Australian dollars though. Shipping anything down under costs a fortune..I think they're like $7.95 a figure in the US???

Yea I will be more then happy to pay $17.95 per figurine, I was actually expecting them to be alittle more then that actually, but that's alright, as I said i'm more then happy with that price.
I had a quick look after work today around here, again... have been looking around here everyday after work this week, still nothing... if there is nothing here tomorrow in local stores i'm going to head outta town on Saturday and check out the stores in the place where i'm going, they'll more then likely have some stuff there, but I really hope stores here tomorrow have it all.

they were at Myer, don't forget Myer has a 20% off storewide sale at the moment. I got mine for $14.95 each because of it..

Yeah, they took the boxes out yesterday, and today they put them back in the storeroom. I was half expecting them all over the place by now, but nope. We'll see tomorrow...

Im really holding out for the upcoming wave though, we got some great stuff heading our way.

Yeah we have the same situation here in NZ. Figures are selling for $20 each, which is about $13 US. Though our vehicles are a bit cheaper - the Alpha vehicles (ATV, Mole Pod...) are selling for $35.

yeah I really want the next wave more than this one. I want Cover Girl and Sgt Stone. Did you see in the NZ thread that the kiwis got them before us and they got both waves of figures plus all the vehicles including the Night Raven?.....sigh...damn kiwis

the stores have started too display their vehicles, and figures slowly!!!

heres my basic purchase...will be going back for shipwreck and a couple vehicles!!1

the figures are $14.99 AU...oouch!!! i know quite expensive

Wow. You guys got Koala Bears and ROC toys first. Not fair. LOL. *just joking* I am waiting for Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes; that wave will probably hit everywhere at the same time.

Myer has the alpha wave vehicles real cheap, rrp $42 and they have them onsale for $26.95 for this week only

and K-mart got waves 1 and 2 and all alpha vehicles.

wave 1 Bravo they had the gunship and the hiss ? for $59.95, missing the snow vehicle with Frostbite

and they had the Night Raven for $94.95. Awesome I finally have a Night Raven.

No sign of the Pitt yet but seeing the shelves filled with joe stock in forever gave me a quiet sign of satisfaction...as corny as that sounds. I don't think Kmart has stocked joes in Oz since the 90's so it was quite a sight to behold. If I wasn't playing hookey from work (longest coffee break ever!) I would have taken pictures on my phone.

Kmart also had the combat heroes and battle heroes too but didn't pay much attention to them.

The only store selling them in Darwin at the moment is Toyworld. And that's only wave 1 of the figures. No vehicles, nada. Oh they had some GI Joe mighty muggs too.

I just bought a lone Scarlett and that was the extent of my Joe purchase. Still not sold on the other figures yet. Maybe my mind will change after the movie.

Well I went into every toy store where I am after work today & found nothing, nothing at all... I was utterly disgusted... so I am going outta town tomorrow to goto the KMart there, they better have em'!

$14 bucks, ouch!

Addendum to my post. Looks like we only got Cover Girl from Wave 2, no Sgt Stone or anyone else that I've seen...yet.

And no Mars trooper 3 packs, are these Toys R Us exclusives?

$14.95 is a bargain! In Canberra Myers has them for that price and that's only because they have a 20% stocktake sale. Kmart has them for $17.95 regular price. I've only seen Cover Girl from wave 2 so far.

Yup, i'm gonna get up tomorrow morning & head outta town because they have a KMart there near by where I live too, about an hour away so it isn't that bad, I live in the country, so i'll search the shelves of KMart over there, was very surprised that Big W didn't have anything though, all the shelves are full on Transformers 2, Terminator 4, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, but no G.I. Joe... wasn't impressed at all!

I am about to suit up & embark on a little known mission called 'Operation Seek'.
I am about to head out of town in search of the newly released Rise of Cobra toy line & hopefully, locate, seek, obtain & return injury free with a number of ROC soldiers & vehicles.
It is quite a ask, some may perish, God Give me Strength.

OK, well i've just gotten back from outta town & guess what... not a single Joe figure on the shelves at all... Went to KMart & they said that they will be on shelves next Thursday, went to ToyWorld & they said they were out back in boxes but yet to be sorted & tagged... so I come back to ToyWorld here locally & they say they had them but sold out, I say I was in there yesturday & there wasn't a single Joe on the racks at all, amazing how the day they are released they sell out, what a fuckin' joke, these people are full of it, so looks like I have to wait alittle longer which i'm not too impressed about.
Although I did end up getting a Star Wars The Legacy Collection StarFighter which I am going to keep sealed & also got a Transformers Universe Optimus Prime Deluxe Class Special Edition which came in a box with a flag at the front so you can see inside the package, looks kinda cool & only cost me $39.99 also.

Thursday? Just in time for their "Toy Sale" I guess. I'm pretty sure it'll appear on the shelves by Monday. Nobody is going to unpack stock on the weekend.

Kmart got Covergirl. According to some threads I've read, Cover Girl was supposed to be in wave 2 or 3 but haven't seen any other figures from that wave except Cover Girl, I noticed that in some stores in the US and Canada she was available with Deep Six and Sgt Stone. Haven't seen them anywhere in my part of the world. Really really want Sgt Stone and Deep Six

I went outta town today & went to KMart & they didn't have a single ROC figure or vehicle on the shelves, I asked into it, they said they were going to be released next Thursday, I said no that's wrong, they were released yesturday & they said no your wrong blah, blah, blah... so I went to ToyWorld & they didn't have anything either, I ended up buying some items but not ROC & asked the guy behind the counter & he said he has 7 crates of ROC out back which were yet to be tagged & put up for sale & said that they would be on the pegs next week, so I get back into town & thought just check ToyWorld here again, again nothing, so I ask into it, they said they had them but sold out, said they had them yesturday but had sold out, I said no I was here yesturday & you had nothing then they tried to tell me they sold out in a few hours, I mean come on, do I look stupid, then said they would get more from the warehouse & call me later today, guess what ? i'm still waiting for that call!

Saw the wave 1 Figures and the basic vehicles at Myer Fremantle on Thursday, as well as the Mighty Mugs. I also saw the figures and the Night Raven at Toyworld Freo the same day.

That's about $33 USD. I know, the cost of living is higher in some countries than others, but that's ridiculous.

if you got to BIG W: Discount Department Store and Kmart Home you can see there toy cataloges with the joe toys in them and there prices. also Target Australia will have there cataloge soon with there Joe toys for the toy sales in july in australia.

Discounted the Ferret is about $24 AUD. Which is about $20 US.

Still a bit much considering, but that's the price you pay for living on the other side of the planet.

I actually found some movie figures in a Toys R Us Miami yesterday, while looking for some Transformers for my nephew, it might be they put them out by accident, when I went back to the isle to get them, they were gone.

I went to the local toy stores again after work today & still... nothing... not a single Joe on the shelves at all, anywhere.
I get home, find a Big W catalogue & find that this Thursday is a toy sale & G.I. Joe figures are $12.88 each starting this Thursday, also KMart are having a 3 week toy sale starting Thursday also, so if they arn't here again by the end of this week then looks like i'm going hunting outta town again, God Damn It!

The joe toys will all be availble from thursday 12.00am at big w first then kmart from 6.00am.

just joined the forum after seeing all the cool stuff that's posted here.
I just had a bit of a joe hunt around sydney myself, went to k-mart in the morning at broadway where they have the figs but aren't discounted at all, i.e. 17.99, then saw big W's catalogue which have them for 12.98. So i went around to my 2 closest big W's but the disappointing thing is they only seem to have a limited selection. I was looking for shipwreck, ripcord and they didn't seem to have any, from what i remember, there was only destro, baroness, snake eyes, storm shadow, vipers and desert duke. they also only have the small vehicles like the mole thingy and the armadillo tank, there were no gunships or night ravens.
I did manage to get the figs i wanted from k-mart for 12.98 after price matching so the day wasn't a total loss.
I'm quite looking forward to these target exclusives i'm reading about
