Because Phooey posted this over on the Ark. Not my story really. Rude Kid: The stands are shaped and have holes similar to U.S. military dogtags. Zefram: So much for the movie line being a break from spending. Those suckers look BADASS! It looks like they went for the IG look. If this is an evolution of the beginings of Cobra, I could see how the modern Cobra Vipers would be an offshoot, and the current IG a natural evolution, of these guys. I can't wait to see the brown haired goatee movie Duke that won't confuse the kids at all  when all we have ever got from G.I. Joe in the past and present is a blonde haired Duke. Tuscan: That WWII Nazi helmet shape sure has a grip on the minds of artists and designers. The OG cobra troops helmets are still the best imo.

They easily could've stuck with Blue for the Cobra uniform, but if it's all coming to a start with MARS and Destro the IG colors play well. Yes, and all the x-men . . . um, rrr, joes helping a paralyzed General Hawk find all the mutants, er, I meant, find the reason we're not getting anymore cool figures until this already tired movie line runs it's course. G.I.Eddie: meh...kinda, um, plain?...this just reinforces the "too much black" issue i have with this movie...it is gonna be freak'n hard to distinguish good from bad when they are wearing the same thing...
