Nice job. The Arashikage Ninja clan symbol on his suit is a bit much, but I likey. ceraurus: Looks cool. It almost seems like CG. Does it look like the suit is a rubbery-type material? darthZartan: Is that the clan symbol on the sword as well? Love the pic. DESTRO: This is not a great Image if it turns out to be real. There are way better Images on the way so wait for those to hit before you give it your thumbs up or down. Master-Baron: I was just on superherohype and this pic wasent on there. It looks FN cool. I messed with the brightness to get a better look. spazzy: That pic looks better than the darkened one, but it almost looks like a well done fan costume. I don't know if I believe that is real yet. Con-man: I hope that it's a fake, It looks like anyone who can use a sewing machine could make that. I would hope hollywood could provide us with a better product. GI Guppy the third: positives
It's simple. It looks like a commando. I love the visor, though I think it could be better. I love the fact he's wearing combat pants.

I don't care for that spandex material they're using for most of the costume. Couldn't they have used something that didn't make him look like a cross country skier?
I prefer my snake eyes without the clan logo on his suit personally. While it's something that he should be proud of, he's a commando on the Joe team now. The clan logo as a tattoo is better because his afiliation can be revealed later and give that "ahh" feeling to those unfamiliar with him. Crimson Rage: Real or not, it looks pretty slick. onefastbird95: I almost would have no doubt that his picutre is real, and it looks better than I expected... actually looks amazing in my opinion... just think of how many ways they could have made it worse before you take stabs at this version if it is indeed real. Gerrorism!: NICE!!! Ive always snake-eyes v3 was always my Snake-Eyes but this is bang on. Looks like regular black BDU pants which makes if feel conventional military. The shirt looks like it has some sorta body suit or padding/armour underneath it which makes it look nicer than just a regular shirt. The visor is classic snake-eyes no fiddling around with goggles or anything just went with what we all know and recognize. Now when I first saw pics of bumblebee I was alittle aprehensive about the look of the transformers however I think everyone should be happy this is gonna be our snake-eyes. Totally Awesome! Except for the part where I loved Superman Returns and thought they ****ed with Transformers way too much, but apart from that, we're the same.
Back on topic, if this is a sign of things to come, then I'm going to be much happier with the character designs than I feared. I hope they took all the criticisms for screwing with the Transformers to heart and will go out of their way to keep fans happy.
So far, so good. gogorobo: awsome photo,now if they can get Destro to loook half as good as this then i'm all aboard RedHeadKevin: IT looks good to me. It's definitely Snake-Eyes.
Now, my observations:
-The costume reminds me of V1 SE's costume (with the web-gear instead of the bandolier) with the V2 mask and wrist-weapons (that lightened picture makes it look like he's got something on the inside of his left wrist)
-The semi-angular look to the spandex on the upper body hints of armor/stealth capabilities to the suit (let's not forget, this is a little futuristic.)
-The semi-angular look to the spandex on the upper body also has a bit of a Sigma6 figure vibe (which doesn't bother me, although it'll piss some folks off)
-Looks like he's sporting a FN Five-seveN pistol. (wish it was some kind of UZI, but oh well)
- It's a tough pose to achieve with my 25th Anniversary SE, dammit.
- Overall, I like it. It's almost a little TOO faithful to the toy/cartoon version. Things like this always look a little wierd in real life, and as with all superhero-type costumes, I'm going to have to see it in action to make my final judgement. Da_Last_2_Walk: Quote: |

Overall it should all work in the film....

Well, I think with more light on it It looks a little better but the fact is, the idea here is to bring GI Joe to "LIFE"
Not make crappy a$$ cartoon costumes that look nothing like something Real LIVE people would wear. That's the point of making a movie with real actors.
If this was GI Joe in the 5th Element world I would be ok with it, but it's 10 years in the future. Think about it. What did you wear 10 years ago? Thats right! The same Pants/Jeans/Shorts and Shirts you have on now! Or reeeeeal close to em.
Why are we making these characters look like they belong in another dimension. Oh well, I'll wait and see.

You can't make it exact! It's a LIVE ACTION...Real life, present day (10 yrs in the future) of supposed operatives.
Keeping it looking like it does in the comic or cartoon is foolish. At least the comics by DDP knew to alter a few characters to keep people interested (ie: SHipwreck)

Loved TF. Loved the robots look, Loved everything. Do you happen to go on the Seibertron site?
