Interesting hands. Wonder if they just go on top or replace the others. And is that a different set of hair or what?

Good find, the SS looks kinda dumb though with no shirt...

and I believe that Rex only comes with 1 set of hair, and that it detaches.

The hair is interesting. Now we can give Serpentor that toupee he's always wanted or make 70s "Disco Destro". That hair piece means endless ridiculous customs!

Yeah the hands are kind of cool and I'm curious to see how they fit also.

Awful looking pair of figures...why is storm shadow running aorund with his shirt torn off in the arctic? That can't be right...this has to be Storm Shadow Frankenstien that the doctor makes later after Marlane Wayans knocks Storm Shadow through the wall.

The SS is ridiculous for an arctic figure (maybe it has some sense after the movie)...actually, plain ridiculous.
But is awesome for customs!

I really like the Doctor. A lot.
I don't care about dildo launchers, they're just worthless extras.
The hands and toupee are a funny detail, but useful.
Looks good as figure, and very useful for customs.

I have the Doctor figure without his accessories.

This figure is great. I can see so many customs being made from it. Plus, his "Darth vader" mouth piece comes off and reveals CC without his mask.

Next to Elite viper and Flash. This is one of the best RoC figures.

Ohhh another 3rd rock figure...I see we are getting at least 2 versions of Cobra Commander already....i cant wait for movie version 67 that will mean the movie line is almost over!

Storm Shadow without a shirt: Despite the name, we've already seen a glimpse of shirtless Storm-Shadow in the previews, fighting with Snake-Eyes....they look to be inside, not out in the snow at the time. I assume the "Arctic" portion refers to the location of the building they're fighting in...not that this is supposed to be "Arctic Operations" Storm Shadow.

Judging from the pics, the "silver hands" apparently clip onto the wrists of the Doctor figure...it actually looks kind of dumb. If they slipped on or swapped out it'd be better.

Loving the accessories on the Baroness. Well, not so much the launcher but the assortment of guns is cool. Beyond that...swap out the head with a 25A/ME Baroness and slap some paint on her and voila...Resolute Baroness.

not a big fan of poor SS seen much better versions . but that being said a pic of him and Battle Damage SE in a stand off would be a cool shot .
i do like the baroness looks slightly less gruesome the the first one .

but the CC wig and storm shadow in his kinda bird suit thing with the wing looking blades is so damn funny words fail me...

i think these figs look great. I seen the kids suits at toys r us already. But man, there's way too many. I foresee shelwarmers ala Star wars

I must admit, while that doesn't say "Cobra Commander" to me, that is a pretty nice figure. I'll most likely pick him up as a mad scientist to stand in the back somewhere near the mass device.

I actually dig these figures. Gonna make some pretty cool Matrix customs for me.

I won't be picking up any ROC figures as I am almost exclusivly an ARAH collector, but these look really cool. Even the Doctor. Looks to me that they would meld right in with the 25th stuff. I guess the only thing I really see different between ROC and ARAH styles is that ROC has more realistic facial sculpts.

ok whats going with storm shadow he looks like cheap anime character ko piece of crap he looks like a tekkaman without his armor.

i like the doctor mind bender with hands like that wouldnt want my doctor t operate on me but he does kinda reminde of dr. doom with those metal hands on

Yeah i've just gotta go with calling that a battle damaged storm shadow...although obviously hasbro wanted to avoid calling it the obvious.

He looks like a burn victim more or less. But the detailing isn't as intense when they removed the normal CC mask. Its not gory or anything.

I'm curious to see how they are going to repaint the Doctor and you know they will.

That's not "arctic storm shadow". It's "Arctic assault Storm Shadow". There's a huge difference. The "Arctic Assault" is a scene from the movie. He's inside the base without a shirt, not outside. Just look at the new trailer. In one of the clips you get a glimpse of SE and SS fighting. SS is shirtless during that fight.

I thought there would be more movie speculation here. Those accessories are probably telling us something about what will happen in the film, although i guess it's hard to say what. But it makes sense that the Dr. would have a wig to help cover his burns, which he probably got from making the green goo. Reminds me of Cobra-La...and the Sigma/Delta Six suits...hmm, they seem to be drawing on all the worst sources of Joe lore for inspiration :(

Thanks for the pics. I ordered that baroness on e-bay for $9.99 (figured it's probably the same as Target will be w/tax etc.) so It'll be my first ROC figure. Thanks for the good pics!

As for movie speculation...storm shadow is goign to freeze in the arctic when his metal gauntlets get stuck to the wall, an dhe must be flying around with his bird wanna be back pack with ninja blades, that has to be the most rediculous figure setup I have ever seen.

That's your single minded opinion. I like the figures and they're awesome. The detail and articulation is better. I find these inspiring. That's my opinion. That Storm Shadow is labeled for the scene, not uniform. The thread title should be changed to have the whole figure's title. I think the Doctor is more interested than the original CC. Guy in blue uniform with hood or silver mask and helmet. Speak for yourself. Your synopsis of these action figures is really just dumb-founded. As figures these are great. As concepts, that is determined by personal opinion. I can believe they're putting these figure out because hasbro doesn't function around their more than whiney, childish fan basis of adults. Kids complain less you. As an adult, a children's toy isn't necessarily the grounds for a logical display item. It's meant to be played with. These look fun. They're meant to be fun. They aren't pieces of crap and it's not Hasbro's decision to decide what the characters look like in the film. They just have to make action figures based after the film. The quality is much better than any 3 3/4 toy I've encountered that is reasonably priced and mass produced.

Totally diggin' Barroness and Dr. Still can't wait on Resolute. It by far is the best. If anyone hears about any serious release dates on it please post quickly. I'm sure everyone is eagerly awaiting news. With any luck news will be released at the SDCC. YoJoe!

Nope, the Doctor is badass as Hell and made of win. If the mask comes off he'd make an awesome Dr Venom. Hell, even if he doesn't, he's still badass enough to hang with CC and Destro in my collection as a different mad scientist. Will need to wait and see on SS and Baroness, but even one homerun out of three swings definately ain't bad.
