G.I. Joe Movie Nano Mite Launcher Baroness Pulse Pistols & M.A.R.S. Weapons Case - GI Joe News
The M.A.R.S. Brief Case shown here plays a Major Role in the G.I. Joe Movie. It carry's the containers of Green Nano Mites and is the focus of the power struggle in the film. Several battles are fought over this case. Think of its as the All Spark Cube in the Transformers Movie.
The Nano-Mite Rocket Launcher is used a few times in the film to deploy the super weapon on Paris and another time in a demonstration as Destro shows off his weapons he currently has for sale to the UN.
The Baroness has 2 Pulse Pistols in the film and they seem to be slightly different. I have not seen much "information" on these and how they work so for now they are just cool M.A.R.S. developed weapons.
Breaker has a ton of Tech Gear in the G.I. Joe Film. Shown here is one of the uniforms and his Holo Projector/Scanner that is a super advanced Laptop with all sorts of functions. kneroh: Sounds like spring loaded crap. I really can't tell how Breaker's accessories look, the pics are pretty blurry. The vest is an improvement for sure, but something tells me this isn't the "real" Breaker. Probably a vehicle driver or multipack thing. I look forward to seeing a Breaker all macked out with the gear we saw in the promo pics.
That missile launcher? No thanks. But it's just a weapon, it'll get tossed aside, and I'll hit up Marauder John like usual and get the good stuff.

I do not need to see a trailer to know this is not a movie worth wasting money on at today's ridiculous theater prices. I couldn't care less if they put out the most amazing trailer ever, there are far too many good movies coming out this Summer for me to worry about spending money on this one. Thanks for the pics. They do look better with accessories although I'm not a fan of spring loaded weapons.

Destro, i will GLADLY give ths movie a chance. I agree, we need to see it in action.
I will say that I don't find the toys that appealing. I hope for a better Baroness figure, as I don't like the face sculpt, but I actually don't mind the rest of the figure. Breaker does not impress, but let's face it here.
We haven't seen the heavy hitters yet. Duke, SE, CC, Destro, SS. yeah, Baroness is (by majority) a let-down, but I think that once the figure is in people's hands, they will pick it up.
I'll wait until better, clearer pictures are provided until I make my decision, but I'm not waving off the movie figures yet.
i do like Breaker having gear though, just wish the pictures were better. Dr. Phd.: The briefcase looks pretty cool. While my plan was to give the movie(and it's toy line) a chance, Hasbro has really given us nothing to see. No offical figure/vehicle pictures, no trailer, and just barely a few crummy stills. I think the comments on this thread are referring mainly to the images of the 2 figures shown and those figures are just plain bad.
Of course I will save some judgment for the trailer and hope it's good but in the meantime I am gonna judge what Ive seen, isn't that the point of a forum? There is a huge difference from "Actor" toys then say the M.A.R.S. Troopers.
I think Breakers head sculpt looks like the actor but the Baroness is not as accurate.

There is no reason to dumb down to kids, it really doesn't pay off. The most popular figures of any line increase in value as seen on Ebay. How may Senator Palpatines do you think warmed the pegs in the Star Wars line? It wasn't a bad figure but it didn't appeal to kids. Kids want the cool figures and I just don't see them jumping up and down over this version of the Baroness and Breaker |
