overall, while i'm not super-stoked about the black suits (Heavy Duty and Scarlet make it work, though), i do look forward to seeing everyone in their "standard" togs. Crimson Rage: He may not be familiar, but Destro just looks right to me.
You know, I've accepted that some people are going to get really nasty about this movie and have decided to let it wash over me. At the end of the day, the only opinion that matters to me is mine, and I'll form it on the day I see this movie.
I certainly won't have the excitement & anticipation soured by the minority who think they're right because can 'shout' louder than me.

No offense, but it's already been confirmed that the characters will be depicted in other uniforms. Thos e are the power suits worn during a small portion of the flick. Sergeant Slaughter: Uh, I sure hope Cynthia's right. I haven't been looking at the pictures, but everyone running around in X-Men suits looks silly. Don't get me wrong, I was FINE with X-Men having all black rubber suits, because X-Men have had wonky suits through the years and anytime Hollywood makes a movie about a superhero they have to wear a black rubber suit, it's just the law.
But I don't really think GI Joe needs to be wearing them. Only Hawk looked decent to me. Though to be fair Duke did sort of look like that weird 12 inch talking Duke from a few years back.
Meh, maybe I should avoid photos from now on. |
